| Climate change is a major global challenge facing mankind, and the dual carbon policy of “carbon peaking” and “carbon neutrality” issued by the state is an inevitable way to address climate change.New energy vehicles are an important direction for the green development and low-carbon transformation of the global automotive industry. To study the factors influencing potential consumers to purchase new energy vehicles,an initial influence index system was obtained through multiple interviews and literature research, and 356 usable questionnaires were prepared and collected. The random forest and logistic regression models were used to predict the purchase intention by dichotomizing the demographic variables as characteristic variables, and the classification accuracy of the random forest model was 0.618 and the logistic regression model was 0.612,which was not ideal. In order to further improve the classification accuracy, the original data set was divided into two data sets according to the different research subjects, namely, college students and office workers, and the random forest and logistic regression were used to predict the classification of office workers respectively.SPSS24.0 software was used to analyze the questionnaire data and determine the system of influencing factors for the purchase intention of new energy vehicles;then AMOS26.0 software was used to construct the structural equation model and verify and analyze the differences of the system of influencing factors in different groups. The results show that product perception and usage habits have a significant influence on the purchase intention of potential consumers of new energy vehicles.Among the different groups, product perception and usage habits have a significant effect on college students;usage habits have a significant effect on office workers. In order to verify the influence of each factor in product perception on the purchase intention of college students,a questionnaire survey was conducted on college students, and the weight of each factor index was ranked using hierarchical analysis to verify the questionnaire results. The results of this study can be used to better understand the potential consumers to promote the development of new energy vehicles. |
