| Aluminum titanate material is one of the highlights of refractory material research,which has coefficient of thermal conductivity and low expansion coefficient,high temperature resistant.Calcium oxide has high-temperature resistance and good slag resistance performance.Zirconium mullite has low expansion coefficient and good resistance to slag erosion.Corundum has stable chemical performance,high refractoriness and good thermal stability.By studying the influence of corundum and zirconium mullite on basic performance and steel slag corrosion resistance of aluminum titanate material,in ord to exploring the development of good thermal shock resistance and high quality of slag resistance without carbon refractory materials.This paper analyzed the organization and properties of aluminum titanate material,summarized the slag resistance of refractory materials.This paper studied sintering process,corundum,zirconium mullite and so on impacting on aluminum titanate composite materials.By the length of the specimen before and after sintering,it determined the shrinkage rate of material.Sample was tested porosity and bulk density by Archimedes.The sample was tested flexural strength at room temperature by three-point bending method.According to the national standard GB/T5072-2008 test sample room temperature compressive strength.Static crucible method is used to research the steel slag erosion resistance of each batch of samples.Using the thermodynamics analyses the corrosion mechanism of steel slag on the sample.The results as follows:(1)With the increase of sintering temperature and holding time,aluminum titanate material exhibit good strength properties.High sintering temperature and holding time too long,the density of material,but it is easy to cause deformation Better sintering temperature is 1500 ℃ for 6h.(2)With the increase of corundum content,steel slag resistance of aluminum titanate materials is improved.When the corundum content is 60%,the comprehensive performance of aluminum titanate materials is better.High level of corundum in aluminum titanate materials need higher sintering temperature.To maintain the material of the premise of good steel slag resistance,reduce the sintering temperature of material,joining the zirconium mullite.Sintered under 1500℃,aluminum titanate materials showed good performance.(3)Zirconium mullite can reduce the sintering temperature of aluminum titanate material,increase the bulk density of material,the mechanical properties and the steel slag resistance of material.When Zirconium mullite amount was 30%,comprehensive performance of materials is better.its apparent porosity was 5.5%,bulk density of 3.1g/cm3,the flexural strength of 42.3MPa,infiltration area of 73.4mm2 and erosion area of 17.6mm2.(4)Through thermodynamics theory analysis,TiO2 and ZrO2 parts,steel slag corrosion resistance of material is better.TiO2 and CaO reaction generates high melting point of steel slag corrosion resistance of calcium titanate material.ZrO2 with steel slag in CaO reaction to generate calcium zirconate material at the same time with the volume expansion,obstruct the steel slag flow.And in two reaction,CaO is absorbed by steel slag,steel slag viscosity is lowered,and the steel slag corrosion resistance of material is improved. |
