| The construction industry is a pillar industry in China, and it is also a high-risk industry.Although the incidence of safety accidents has been brought under control in recent years,it is still higher than in other industries.Relevant studies have shown that a large number of safety accidents are caused by people’s unsafe behaviors.Fatigue is the main internal cause of unsafe behaviors.Mental fatigue leads to impaired cognitive function and decreased concentration, which in turn leads to unsafe behaviors.Construction noise is a common and important disturbance at construction sites.Studies have shown that mental fatigue is more likely to occur in a noisy environment, and noise intensity and exposure duration are important factors that affect mental fatigue. At present, there are still insufficient researches on the“anterior causes”of mental fatigue in the construction industry. The impact of construction noise intensity and exposure duration on mental fatigue is seldom discussed, and the existing research conclusions are controversial. Therefore,it is necessary to discuss the impact of construction noise on mental fatigue. The impact of the study.Based on the ERP behavior experiment, this article will explore the influence of construction noise intensity and exposure duration on mental fatigue. This article will focus on exploring the impact of construction noise on mental fatigue, based on existing noise and mental fatigue related theories, combined with literature to identify mental fatigue performance and evaluation methods, determine mental fatigue evaluation indicators required for behavioral experiments, and based on event-related potential technology(ERP)Design behavior experiment to explore the impact of construction noise intensity and duration on mental fatigue and performance level. The experimental design divides the experiment into three groups according to the noise intensity: quiet environment(about 30 d B),medium noise environment(65d B),high noise environment(85d B).12 subjects are recruited to carry out three groups of experiments, and the experimental task is to perform 60 Minutes of 2-back cognitive tasks.By using the Fatigue Visual Analog Scale(VAS)to measure the subject’s subjective fatigue,E-Prime3.0 records reaction time and accuracy to reflect behavioral performance, and collects EEG data through the EEG acquisition system, which is verified in many ways The influence of construction noise on mental fatigue. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Mental fatigue will occur after long-term cognitive tasks. There are differences in the degree of mental fatigue induced by the three groups of different intensities of noise environments. After mental fatigue occurs, the performance of each index increases subjective fatigue and the accuracy rate decreases.,N1,P2,P3 volatility decreases,N2 volatility increases.(2)Comprehensive evaluation of the degree of mental fatigue from eight aspects: fatigue, effort level, arousal level, reaction inhibition, working memory, attention, performance level, and reaction speed. After performing a 60-minute cognitive task in a noisy environment The level of mental fatigue is the highest, and the level of mental fatigue is the lowest in a quiet environment.(3)During the entire cognitive task process, the work performance showed an inverted U-shaped curve with the noise intensity, the performance level was the best in the medium-noise environment, and the performance level was the worst in the high-noise environment.(4)The performance level of the three groups of construction noise environments with different intensities showed a trend of first rising and then falling with the increase of the duration of noise exposure. This article explores the impact of construction noise on mental fatigue and performance level, helps to promote ERP technology related research in the field of construction safety, promotes the integration of the field of construction safety with other disciplines, and helps managers to better deal with construction noise and mental fatigue management. |
