The storage and transportation of energy is the reserve force of a country’s development. As one of the three major energy sources in the 21st century, oil resources provide a powerful impetus for China’s rapid development. In view of the previous"oil crisis"in western countries, all countries in the world attach great importance to oil reserve, which is regarded as one of the cores of energy security strategy in China.Since the 21st century,China has become the largest oil importer, and its oil production ranks first in the world, and its oil reserves are even more important. At present, oil tanks are used to store oil in China, and many oil tanks have been established in Dalian,Qinghai,Daqing and other places in succession. However, due to the influence of the service environment and the nature of the medium contained in the tanks, corrosion defects of different sizes will be formed in the tank wall and other parts.Although high-strength steel has good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance,if it is in a comprehensive state of long-term service and strong earthquakes, the tanks may be perforated and leaked, resulting in serious loss of people’s lives and property. In view of this, this paper uses large-scale finite element ABAQUS software for modeling.Firstly,it explores the influence law of corrosion on the bearing capacity o f storage tanks under static load.Secondly,it introduces additional mass method to ca rry out modal analysis of steel storage tanks with internal corrosion defects. Finally,it selects different seismic waves to carry out dynamic loading on storage tanks with i nternal corrosion defects, and analyzes the change of seismic performance, which prov ides reference for tank design and corrosion protection in practical engineering. The specific research contents of this paper are as follows:1.The model of 1000 m~3vertical high-strength steel oil storage tank was establis hed.Firstly, the displacement of intact storage tank under static load is calculated acc ording to the specification, thus verifying the accuracy of the model.Secondly, the co rrosion conditions are designed by orthogonal analysis and control variable method,a nd the bearing capacity of the tank wall under different corrosion conditions is studie d,which is characterized by residual bearing capacity. At the same time, the limit int erference distance of the interaction between multiple corrosion defects and its influen ce on the bearing capacity of the tank wall are obtained, which provides a theoretical basis for the preliminary evaluation of the safety of the tank with internal corrosion defects.2.The introduction of additional mass method in ABAQUS is realized by subroutine, and it is used to simulate the effect of liquid-solid coupling and complete the modal analysis of storage tank.On the basis of theoretical verification and finite element simulation, the data changes of effective participation quality, vibration mode and natural frequency of storage tanks are extracted and analyzed, and the influence laws of corrosion defects on the vibration characteristics of storage tanks are summarized.3.Different seismic waves are applied to corroded storage tanks under different working conditions, the dynamic model is established by CEL method, and the dynamic response of corroded storage tanks is analyzed by elasto-plastic time history analysis method. The influence of various properties of corrosion defects on the seismic performance of storage tanks is discussed, which provides theoretical reference for seismic research of corroded storage tanks.
