| The exploitation of mineral resources has made outstanding contributions to China’s economic,social development and the improvement of people’s living standards.However,the extensive exploitation has caused a multitude environment problems,such as soil erosion,landscape damage and land resources waste.In addition,a large number of waste stones piling up at will,which is easily lead to collapse and landslide in rainy and severe typhoon conditions.And these problems pose serious threats to the life and property safety of nearby villagers.The paper utilizes Arc GIS combining with the current situation in Xishan Mining Area in Zhangzhou,using Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to select the pioneer vegetation suitable for local ecological restoration,to carry out ecological restoration in the method of zoning management.The main conclusions are as following :(1)Based on the field investigation in Xishan Mining Area in Zhangzhou,its main ecological environment problems includes: Landscape damage,potential geological hazards,plant ecological function loss,soil and water environmental pollution,etc.(2)The soil p H in the research area is 5.5~6.4(average 6.0),slightly acidic on the whole.The soil moisture content is 12.27%~17.90%(average 15.84%),lower than26.37% of the control sample G.Except available phosphates,the total nitrogen content and fast-acting potassium are both lower than level 5 in soil.The bare batholith caused by long-term mining might be led to the destruction of soil structure and the loss of soil nutrients.(3)Analyzed the change of land-use type in Xishan Mining Area in Zhangzhou from2010 to 2020 by using Arc GIS and Google Earth software.The results showed that the mining land was increased by 53.0838 hm2,mainly from the agricultural land such as paddy fields and orchards.While the bare land and grassland area decreased significantly with 51.6337 hm2 totally.(4)Utilized AHP to select the pioneer vegetation which are conducive to local ecological restoration according to the plant adaptability,functional improvement,economic benefits,etc.The pioneer vegetation include Acacia confusa,Eucalyptus robusta(arbor),Cajanus cajan,Tephrosia vogelii,vines Virginia creeper,Lonicera japonica,Cynodon dactylon and Medicago sativa.(5)The abandoned minging area will be divided into one key restoration area,five sub-key restoration areas and general restoration areas(adopts natural ecological restoration)to carry out the ecological restoration.The ecological restoration technology mainly includes: slope cutting and load reduction,slope surface regulation,anchoring and hanging net,spraying planting of suitable tree and grass,construction of cutting drainage ditch and retaining wall/ridge,etc.Ecological restoration effect displays that the main pioneer plant are Cynodon dactylon and Festuca elata.Robinia locust.Leucaena leucocephala,Cajanus cajan and other trees and shrubs gradually began to grow in June,the height of which are approximately 15 to 50 cm.The community dominated by grass and shrub has been formed,and the coverage has reached more than 90%.The overall ecological restoration effect is perfect. |
