Research On The Design Of Traditional Chinese Toys Based On Sensory Experienc

China’s traditional toys are the material carrier of excellent culture.They contain rich humanistic value,historical value and technological value.They are also the crystallization of national wisdom and national culture.They are the traditional material culture worthy of our in-depth study.However,since the 21 st century,with the rapid development of China’s economy,people have new needs for material life and spiritual life,and the demand for toy products has become diversified and rich.A large number of modern toys produced by assembly line have entered people’s life,and traditional toys are gradually marginalized.Therefore,thinking about how to use scientific and rigorous design ideas to retain the creative wisdom and technological value of traditional toys,help traditional toys overcome obstacles,realize their own value and significance,and provide new design ideas is the research purpose and significance of this topic.Firstly,starting with the history of traditional toys,this paper combs the development history and research status of traditional toys at home and abroad,and summarizes and sorts out the development characteristics and process characteristics of China’s traditional toys in various historical periods.According to the functional attributes,traditional toys are divided into ornamental,seasonal,educational and fitness traditional toys,and bamboo,clay,metal and food traditional toys.From the perspective of sensory experience,traditional toys are divided into visual toys,auditory toys,tactile toys and smell toys,and the experience value contained in traditional toys is analyzed from many aspects and angles,And its own cultural attributes and artistic value,and then use SOWT analysis method to analyze the development prospect of traditional toys at present.Secondly,from the perspective of sensory experience design,integrate the comprehensive experience brought by various sensory elements,and emphasize the linkage between multiple senses.It also analyzes the sensory experience elements and characteristics of China’s traditional toys from the sensory level and cognitive level,analyzes the sensory material composition of traditional toys from the aspects of material,color and form,and analyzes the attention and detailed design of experience plot from the cognitive level,which can raise the sensory sense into people’s emotional experience and cognition,and bring a reasonable and effective sensory experience process.Taking traditional toys as the design reference object,this paper systematically puts forward the methods and principles of sensory experience design for traditional toys,defines the target users,fully understands the various needs of users through questionnaire survey,interview,observation and other survey methods,and summarizes and refines the tendency and priority of users’ sensory needs.Finally,clarify the design goal,emphasize the experience plot and theme,pay attention to the sensory composition and design entry point,and use theory to guide practice to help China’s traditional toys achieve their own innovation and development.
