"Cultural prosperity is the national prosperity,and cultural strength is the national strength",which accumulates the profound value of China for five thousand years and boosts its prosperity and development in the form of soft power.However,while the rapid development of economy accelerates the process of modernization,foreign culture,mixed with multiple material desires,impacts the local ethnic culture and faces the danger of cultural gene rupture caused by the disappearance of regionality and ethnic characteristic.The cultural renaissance is still in the ascendant,and the Buyi ethnic costumes,as the intangible cultural heritage,bear the brunt of culture and culture.The decorative aesthetic interest and cultural image of Buyi costume elements show strong ethnic regional characteristics,broad and profound creation rules and cultural context.Therefore,Buyi costumes are endowed with important inheritance value in the new era.Understanding their laws and drawing design materials from costumes are the needs to meet social needs and enhance the core attributes of products and enrich cognitive horizons.It is also a way to respond to the call of the state and realize the close integration of ethnic cultural inheritance and the present.This paper uses the theory of semantics to explore the semantics of clothing,analyzes the perceptual needs of clothing and its thinking mode in creation,and lays the theoretical foundation for the full text.157 Buyi costumes collected in Guizhou Ethnic Museum were selected as the research objects,and the regional environment,development history and selected costume types of Buyi costumes were summarized by the methods of field research and literature.The clothing elements of the Buyi ethnic group are interpreted from the semantic level as the representational features of their patterns,colors and crafts,and the implicit emotion of their clothing is the meaning feature,and the meaning expression forms are excavated.From the visual point of view,the Buyi clothing is divided into "invisible" and"visible" two existing states,and the design form of the design factor is discussed.Starting from the user perception image,this paper refines the semantic sample elements with typical characteristic attributes in the clothing elements of Buyi ethnic group—decoration factor and meaning factor,and refines the design factor;questionnaire survey and two rounds of factor screening were conducted by using the Likert five-level scale.The user image preference was obtained through evaluation,and the deduction of design application cases was completed.The research shows that the interpretation of clothing semantics can be divided into two levels of representation and meaning,and it is necessary to perceive its existence from society,culture,consumption and clothing itself;clothing,as the carrier of creation,can analyze its creative motivation by using the image and abstract artistic thinking mode,so as to perceive the spiritual core formed by it,dig deep into people’s cognition and understanding of everything in the world from the surface to the inside,and realize the derivative combination of objective participation and emotional activity.From the characterization level,it can be concluded that the clothing elements of the Buyi ethnic group have diverse evolutionary pattern characteristics,dynamic and static color characteristics,and the technological characteristics of dyeing techniques,reflecting the unique aesthetic tendency of ethnic art;from the meaning level can be sustenance of the Buyi people’s good wishes for reproduction,lucky to avoid evil,"reflects the desire for worship of natural faith",as well as the "identity across time and space".Its clothing elements can be presented by means of "direct exposure,harmonic communication and abstract transformation",reflecting people’s yearning for a better life.Analyzing the clothing elements of Buyi people from "intangible" and "3tangible",and proposing that the transformation of elements into usable design factors should be combined with the emotional elements of "popularity and typicality,form and content,extroversion and implicitness,continuation and innovation,multi-price and pluralism",and comprehensively considering the integration background,consumer groups and innovation purposes of both form and spirit,so as to realize the modern transformation of traditional elements.The research results are helpful to provide reference and approach for the study of ethnic cultural elements.The design factors can be extracted from the statistical evaluation of images perceived by users.Combined with the modern popular trend,the design method of "the change of modeling bones like things but not things,the collision of visual changing color elements,the ingenious and exquisite ancient and modern technology,and the implantation of meaning emotion in the expression" can be used to select the elements to output the design results.It is helpful to interpret the creative core in depth from an innovative perspective,realize the cross-era transformation of the media,inherit and transmit the ethnic feelings so as to promote the sustainable development of excellent ethnic culture.
