COVID-19 hit global economy hard,the global political and economic is undergoing profound changes.China’s mineral resources are highly dependent on foreign countries.Now geopolitics has intensified and western containment of China has escalated.At the same time,the world is entering a post-epidemic era and the global economy has begun to recover,which has given certain support to metal prices.The global "dual carbon" plan has also spurred a surge in demand for metals such as copper.The copper business of Z Company is in the stage of rapid development,the demand of copper raw materials also increases sharply.In such a macro and industrial environment,this paper has certain guiding significance for the research of Z company’s procurement process management optimization.This paper is entitled "Research on optimization strategy of copper raw material procurement process of Z Company".First of all,the questionnaire of copper raw material procurement process of Z company was designed and optimized.Secondly,analyze and test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire to verify the scientificity and feasibility of the questionnaire.Thirdly,through the quantitative analysis of the collected questionnaire date,analyze the reason affecting of Z company procurement process.Finally,from six dimensions of Z company’s purchasing process management,the demand forecast and plan,purchasing application,supplier evaluation and selection,contract signing and execution,receive the goods and documents,payment and performance appraisal comprehensive to analysis the factors that influence efficiency of Z company procurement process.Finally,propose the corresponding optimization strategy.According to the six dimensions of procurement to payment process model design to optimize the procurement process management,one is to increase the scientific demand of raw material planning,establish the raw material system between smelters and procurement departments,increase the concentration of procurement;Second,improve the procurement declaration system,improve the smelter procurement application system,improve the spot emergency procurement declaration system,standardize the application procurement process,strengthen the production department of trade knowledge training;The third is to improve the supplier evaluation system,the system of supplier access,and supplier classification management system;Fourth,to improve the professional quality of procurement personnel,improve the negotiation skills of procurement personnel through training,through training to improve the professional knowledge of procurement personnel;Fifth,to improve the efficiency of receipt of documents,promote the electronic presentation system to improve the speed of document delivery,the application of data empowerment to speed up the efficiency of documents;Sixth,to improve the payment settlement and performance appraisal system,establish a system to update the price and payment plan in real time,to improve the supplier performance appraisal system,and to improve the supplier selection and withdrawal system.
