Nowadays,Purchasing Management,which is a basic link of supply chain,is not only a function under traditional management style same as other functions such as R&D,production and sales department,but also is day by day becoming a strategic management function in an enterprise.In modern times,entrepreneurs more and more clearly recognize how important purchasing is to the living and development of a company.That's because Purchasing is not only a precondition of other links,but also it's a tool to control operation cost.Purchasing can directly make savings and create profit for a company.Purchasing is 2^nd profit creation department which is just behind sales.What's more,through the cooperation with suppliers and management of outside resources,purchasing can provide strong support for an enterprise development by reducing R&D time,production time,stock level and improving quality level.Under this background,this thesis will take T limited company as an example.Firstly it pointed out the existing issues in purchasing management and the root cause.Secondly,it pointed out truthfulness and modern improving methods and ideas to optimize the purchasing procedure management by using related theoretical research methods,such as business process reengineering to help T company switch the people management to regulation management style,reach the modernization and scientization of purchasing,increase the purchasing efficiency,reduce purchasing cost and enhance its competitiveness in both inland and oversea market.
