With the further deepening of oilfield exploration,logging interpretation and logging tool diagnosis have become particularly important.Based on the analysis of the interpreted data,reservoirs and non reservoirs in the formation can be divided,so as to grasp the physical properties,lithology,and fluid properties of the reservoir;When there is a problem with the logging tool,it can quickly diagnose the tool and quickly locate the problem.On the basis of literature research at home and abroad,this paper expands from the basic definitions and processing methods of non elastic and capture spectra.According to the method of energy spectrum logging,fast neutrons are emitted by pulse neutron source to the formation.Fast neutrons will be non elastic scattering with the atomic nuclei of formation elements,which will cause the atomic nuclei to release rays of different energies,so as to determine the information in the formation.Subsequently,research was conducted on the energy spectrum logging algorithm and corresponding interpretation work was carried out on the logging data.As the logging data includes many formats(WIS,TXT,XTF...),it is important to convert different formats of data to each other.Therefore,relevant conversion algorithms were designed to convert different formats of logging data to each other,and the interpretation result curve was obtained based on the interpreted data,This allows for a better analysis of the element content and specific conditions of the formation.At the same time as interpreting logging data,a more advanced diagnostic method for logging tools has been introduced.Traditional logging tools that encounter problems can only be diagnosed and repaired by powering up the entire instrument through a single core cable.Here,a CAN bus is used to connect the instrument short section and analyze the specific problems of the logging tool by connecting to the designed data interpretation and diagnostic platform,in order to achieve the purpose of diagnosis,To reduce workload.Finally,the designed interpretation and diagnosis system is divided into two parts for verification.First,the diagnosis function is verified through the NGE(Neutron generator nipple)nipple.At the same time,the interpretation result curve is obtained through the actual logging data.According to the curve result graph,the relevant data of formation element yield and element mass percentage can be obtained to meet the design requirements.
