Research On The Application Of Succulent Form In The Design Of Ceramic Tea

In today’s society,more and more young people like to plant plants,and succulent plants with rounded appearance,succulent leaves and easy to survive characteristics are favored by the masses.At the same time also sustains people’s emotions,arouses people’s resonance.Daily ceramic products are closely related to our life.Under the modern background,how to absorb nutrition from nature and develop ideas for innovative design is a problem that needs us to think deeply.This paper takes the form of succulents as the main body of the study.Through the induction of the morphological characteristics of succulents,it makes theoretical elaboration and design practice around the two key points of the form of succulents and the design of domestic ceramics.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part introduces the source,purpose,significance and innovation of the topic,and makes a literature review by collecting a large amount of data.The second part analyzes the basic structure of succulents and analyzes the artistic characteristics of succulents.Based on the geometric concept,the form of succulents is abstracted into the basic elements such as point,line,surface and texture,so as to make it possible to apply them to the daily ceramic modeling design.Through several case studies,the paper expounds some applications of succulent plant forms in other artistic designs,and gradually establishes the feasibility of the design.The fourth part is the design practice and application part.Firstly,the design conception of the series of works is elaborated,and the design deduction process and the physical production are described.Finally,the finished products are displayed.The fifth part is the summary,which summarizes the theory,practice and shortcomings of this graduation project.It hopes that the subsequent research and creation can be further improved,so as to design ceramic tea and coffee works that are more in line with the aesthetic needs of the public and comfort people’s hearts.
