Mongolian medicine Tribulus terrestris is the dry and mature fruit of Tribulus terrestris,a plant of the Tribulus genus in the Tribulus family. It is often used to treat symptoms such as dizziness caused by liver yang hyperactivity, eye redness caused by wind and heat, and rubella itching. The entire plant of Tribulus terrestris can be used as a medicinal herb, and reports on roasted Tribulus terrestris fruits account for the majority.Research has shown that Tribulus terrestris mainly contains saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids, amino acids, polysaccharides and other components, among which saponins and flavonoids are the main active ingredients. This paper takes Mongolian medicine Tribulus terrestris as the research object, and analyzes and studies its extraction process, antioxidant effects, and content changes of indicator components before and after processing. The specific content includes:(1)In this paper, the extraction rate of flavonoids and saponins was used as the index, and the solid-liquid ratio, extraction temperature, extraction time and extraction times were four factors.Box-Behnken design method in response interface method was used to study the extraction process of Tribulus tribulus. The results showed that the optimal extraction process of Tribulus tribulus was as follows: solid-liquid ratio 1:20,extraction temperature 80℃,extraction time 2.0h and extraction times 3.Finally,the extraction rates of flavonoids and saponins from eight different habitats of Tribulus terrestris were compared, and the extraction rates of Tribulus Tribulus were the highest in Bozhou,Anhui province.(2)The antioxidant activity of different effective parts of Tribulus terrestris was studied. The antioxidant activities of petroleum ether, ethyl acetate,n-butanol and water extracts of Tribulus Terrestris before and after processing were tested by DPPH,ABTS,superoxide anion radical scavenging capacity and reducing capacity FRAP,combined with UV-visible spectrophotometry. The results showed that all effective parts of Tribulus tribulus showed good antioxidant activity. The antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate and n-butanol extract was stronger than that of petroleum ether and water, and the antioxidant activity of processed products of Tribulus terrestris is higher than that of raw products.(3)The changes of main pharmacodynamic components of Tribulus tribulus before and after processing were analyzed by UHPLC-MS and principal component analysis(PCA).The results show that the contours of raw product and processed product can be clearly distinguished in PCA model.Eight chemical markers were screened through volcanic maps, among which the content of terestric acid and Gitogenin decreased, while the content of tigogenin, succinic acid, isorhamnetin, tricin, trillin, and zymosterol increased. The increase in the content of these chemical components after processing of Tribulus terrestris may lead to an enhanced therapeutic effect on hepatitis, inflammation, and cardiovascular diseases. This study provides experimental basis for the analysis of the processing principle and clinical application of Tribulus terrestris.
