| Polyethylene glycol is a linear polyether polymer with good thermal and chemical stability.The polyethylene glycol derivatives with high reactivity can be obtained by modifying the polyethylene glycol terminal groups.Polyethylene glycol and its derivatives are widely used in the functionalization of materials.This is because polyethylene glycol derivatives have many characteristics,such as:good hydropathy,low toxicity and low immunogenicity,strong chemical stability,good tolerance to acid and base,and energy storage and temperature regulation.In this paper,in order to improve the surface hydrophobicity of raw wool,the problem of easy felting and electrostatic,the hydrophilic low molecular weight polyethylene glycol derivative was used to modify the wool fabrics,so as to improve the hydrophilicity of wool,improve its antistatic performance,anti-felting performance and adsorption performance.Firstly,two polyethylene glycol derivatives with different end groups,polyethylene glycol disuccinate(PEGDSA)and polyethylene glycol dimethacrylate(PEGDMA),were selected and grafted onto the wool fabric surface by EDC/NHS catalysis and thiol-ene click reaction,respectively.The results showed that wool fabrics can be successfully modified by PEG derivatives.After modification,the hydrophilicity of the two fabrics was greatly improved,the felt shrinkage rate was reduced to less than 10%,and the anti-pilling ability can reach up to grade 5.However,the strength retention of PEGDMA modified fabrics was slightly higher than that of PEGDSA modified fabrics.The PEGDMA modified fabric had a better feel to the hand.Moreover,PEGMDA modification had the advantages of shorter reaction period and higher efficiency than PEGDSA modification.Secondly,based on the PEGDMA modificatio???挘历??????匄?????薵苻虞??modification on the adsorption properties of wool was studied in detail.The metal ion adsorption performance showed that the PEGDMA modification could increase the Ag~+adsorption of wool,and the adsorption isotherm was in accordance with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm.On this basis,micro/nano silver antibacterial wool fabrics were prepared using polyethylene glycol to reduce silver nitrate.X-ray diffraction analysis,particle size analysis,and Ag~+conversion showed that both the conversion and average particle size of micro/nano silver increased with temperature.When the reduction temperature was 80℃,the product particle size was maintained in the micro/nano scale.Compared with the original wool,the PEGDMA modified wool could adsorb more micro/nano silver,and the antibacterial rate of the prepared wool could still maintain 99.9%after 50 times of washing.Finally,water-borne polyurethane with similar chemical structure to polyethylene glycol was used to coat the antibacterial fabric.The water-borne polyurethane coating slightly improved the washing resistance of micro/nano silver finished wool,but had little effect on improving sun discoloration. |
