With the attention to the environment domestic and overseas, the country’s control of plastic packaging has become more stringent, and commonly used non-degradable plastics have gradually been eliminated in daily packaging. However, there are big advantages of plastic packaging, easy to use, lightweight materials. In the biodegradable plastics,Poly(adipate/butylene terephthalate)(PBAT)are widely used, because of their good physical properties and biodegradable. However, the popularization and use of PBAT is difficult to be accepted by everyone because of its higher water vapor transmission rate and higher manufacturing costs than traditional plastics. In this paper, inorganic fillers and PBAT are used for processing to prepare composites.Effectively improve the barrier properties of PBAT.And the use of cheap biomass fillers to prepare PBAT-based composite materials can reduce the use cost of PBAT.In this article, adding modifiers and reinforcing phases to PBAT,to study the effects of G-ZnO and MWCNT-ZnO on the mechanical properties and barrier properties of composites, and the effect of adding corn stalks on the degradation properties of composites. The research content of this article is mainly divided into the following three parts.(1)PBAT/G-ZnO composites were prepared by adding graphene/zinc oxide(G-ZnO)to PBAT by melt intercalation method. The MPBAT/G-ZnO composites were prepared adding maleic anhydride(MAH)and G-ZnO to PBAT by melt blending method. The performance and structure of the composites were tested through the water vapor transmission rate tester, the gas transmission rate tester and universal testing machine. The results show that the addition of G-ZnO can improved the mechanical strength of the composites.Compared with neat PBAT,the maximum tensile strength, yield strength and elongation at break of MPBAT/G-ZnO composites have increased by 19.6%,17%,and7.5%,respectively.When the content of G-ZnO is 0.6%,the composites has the greatest barrier performance. After modified by MAH,the performance of MPBAT/G-ZnO composite is better than that of PBAT/G-ZnO composites.(2)PBAT/MWCNT-ZnO composites were prepared by adding multi-walled carbon nanotubes/zinc oxide(MWCNT-ZnO)into PBAT by melt blending method.Firstly,PBAT was modified by MAH,and then MWCNT-ZnO was added to preparing MPBAT/MWCNTZnO composites. The performance of composite materials were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis, comprehensive thermal analysis, mechanical performance testing,SEM and barrier performance testing. The results show that, when the MWCNTZnO content of 0.2%,the composites have the maximum mechanical properties. And after the addition of MWCNT-ZnO,the barrier performance of the composite material has been greatly improved, and the maximum increase in water vapor barrier performance and oxygen barrier performance is 20.3% and 129.9%.(3)PBAT/CS composites were prepared by adding corn stalk(CS)to PBAT by melt blending method.Using MAH to modified PBAT and then adding CS to prepared MPBAT/CS composites. The performance and structure of composite materials were tested and characterized by SEM,mechanical properties,TG,DSC,and biodegradable performance testing. The results show that the mechanical properties of the composite material will be reduced after added CS.because the strength of bio-filler is low.but it meets the standards for the use of degradable mulch film.Introducing corn stover effectively reducing the cost of the composite and enhance the biodegradable composites can be more easily promote the application of the composite material, the composite material can be made better in film applications.
