Huangling Mining TY Company Research On Development Strategy

Railroad transportation has always been an important mode of transportation for commodities such as coal,and plays an important role in the freight market.However,with the continuous tightening supply and demand of international coal,the threat of increasingly fierce competition from road and pipeline transportation has made the coal railroad transportation industry face harsh trials.How to cope with the challenges in the complex market environment,and give full play to the advantages of enterprises,it is of particular importance for railroad transport enterprises to research and formulate a reasonable development strategics.Railway transportation company of Huangling Mining Group(hereinafter referred to as TY Company)has a 50 km special railway line and is responsible for tran sporting coal and chemical product of Huangling Mining Group and surrounding small and medium-sized enterprises to Huangling Station of Xiyan Railway.It is the only local railway line in the area.Based on domestic and foreign strategic management research theory,this paper taking TY Company as research object,analyzes the external macro environment from four PEST concerns and micro-environment with Porter’s Five Forces model,and clarifies the development opportunities and risks of TY Company through a method combining quantitative and qualitative analysis.The internal environment analysis summarizes and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise in terms of enterprise operation,safety production,human resources and information technology construction.On the basis of the key influencing factors of the internal and external environment,a SWOT analysis is conducted to obtain a strategic development programme for TY Company.Combined with the company’s development objectives,the research conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis,as well as QSPM matrix.And finally determining the company’s development strategy,which is road integration strategy as the main,diversified transport product strategy development as a supplement.The paper also explains the general idea,main content and implementation process of the company’s development strategy.The paper concludes with six safeguards,including policy,security,and funding to ensure the realization of the company’s strategies.This paper aims to provide a theoretical basis for TY Company to formulate its development strategy,help the company to explore its own potential and enhance its core competitiveness,and realize its high-quality development.It is also hoped that this paper can provide reference value for other railroad transportation companies.
