As a treasure of ethnic culture,Xilankapu carries the unique living memories of the Tujia people and is a cultural product that has accumulated for thousands of years.Tujia people created this wonderful flower of folk crafts with unique craftsmanship.With exquisite craftsmanship,vivid shapes and bright colors,Xilankapu has endowed with extremely unique artistic charm.Such a flexible and natural Xilankapu awaits us to dig deeper and explore in detail.However,due to its complicated weaving process,Xilankapu needs to go through ten processes,and needs to be dyed and weaved by hand.Only elderly women are still insisting on inheriting this craft,while young people are rarely willing to learn.And inheritance,but chose to go out and venture,so that Xilankapu is on the verge of endangered.Although Xilankapu was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage in 2006,many people paid attention to it,but for many reasons,Xilankapu did not enter the public’s field of vision and did not communicate with people.closely related to daily life.On the other hand,under the trend of globalization,the cultural exchanges between countries are becoming more and more close,which also requires designers and scholars to start from the cultural genes of their own ethnic group and take root in the excellent ethnic traditional culture to design clothing for the local people.Fashion design infuses the soul of the Chinese nation.Therefore,this research starts with the spiritual and cultural connotation and artistic characteristics of Sealand Karp,and uses the method of document investigation,interview investigation,multidisciplinary method and practice method to conduct research,based on the previous theoretical and practical research,An in-depth analysis of the historical origin,content theme,cultural characteristics and artistic characteristics of Xilankapu is carried out.Then,we will focus on exploring the representative Thoreau,Mabi,Shibi,forty-eight hooks and Sunflower among the various patterns of Lankapu,and explore their spiritual connotation,content theme and form.Dismantling analysis of three aspects.On the premise of retaining the traditional connotation,the design method of adding ellipsis and decomposition and reorganization is reasonably and subtly used to carry out the secondary design of Xilankapu,to explore the place where the traditional Xilankapu pattern matches the current fashion design language.And carry out specific design practice research.The deconstructed and reconstructed Xilankapu pattern is applied to clothing design by using the bean spelling method,digital printing method,offset printing method and graffiti inkjet method,which makes Xilankapu return to life and bring people closer to each other.Distance,so that Xilankapu brocade rejuvenates in the current fashion context.
