Ceramics,optical glass,metal matrix composites and other hard and brittle materials have excellent mechanical,physical and chemical properties,they are widely used in aerospace and other advanced manufacturing fields.However,these materials are typical difficult material,and the traditional grinding method is more likely to produce grinding burns,surface micro-cracks and other machining defects.Rotary ultrasonic internal grinding is an effective method for precise machining of hard and brittle materials,but the design method of vibration system of rotary ultrasonic internal grinding is not perfect.The main research work of this paper is as follows:A unified theoretical model of a variety of combined wheel amplitude transformer in ultrasonic internal grinding wheel was established,and the analytical expressions of displacement and strain functions of the wheel and the rod were established by using the longitudinal vibration theory of the wheel amplitude transformer.The frequency equation of wheel amplitude transformer is derived by combining the force and displacement continuity conditions and boundary conditions among each vibration element.The frequency equation is solved by MATLAB,the wheel amplitude transformer for ultrasonic internal grinding wheel is designed.Through modal analysis and harmonious response analysis,the correctness of the unified theoretical model of grinding wheel amplitude transformer was verified.The resonant system of rotary ultrasonic internal grinding tool was developed,and the vibration characteristic test were carried out on the resonant system.The experiment verified the correctness of the theoretical analysis model of wheel amplitude transformer and the feasibility of the resonance system of ultrasonic internal grinding tools,and provided theoretical and technical reference for the design of longitudinal vibration wheel amplitude transformer.The workpiece rotating platform is designed,and the rotating accuracy of the workpiece rotating platform is measured.The workpiece rotating platform was installed on the working table of the machine tool,and the ultrasonic internal grinding tool resonance system was connected with the spindle of the machine tool,and the ultrasonic internal grinding test platform was built to prepare for the subsequent ultrasonic internal grinding test.The contrast machining experiments of alumina ceramic ring with and without ultrasonic grinding are carried out on ultrasonic internal grinding test platform.The influence of different machining parameters on workpiece surface quality was investigated and the performance of ultrasonic internal grinding tool resonance system was evaluated.In this paper,a unified theoretical analysis model of longitudinal resonance wheel amplitude transformer is established,and the resonance system of rotary ultrasonic internal grinding tool is developed,and its resonance performance is tested.The ultrasonic inner circle grinding test platform was built and the inner circle grinding test with and without ultrasonic was carried out,which provided a reference for the application of rotary ultrasonic inner circle grinding equipment.
