With the rapid development of the economy,the problem of environmental pollution has become increasingly serious.Green innovation has become the main way to resolve the contradiction between economic development and the environment,which has a direct impact on the future development of enterprises and the construction of social and ecological civilization.The mining industry is an important industry for China’s economic development and a powerful guarantee for industrial modernization.However,the current heavily polluting enterprises,led by the mining industry,have been relying on the consumption of physical resources and the continuous expansion of their scale for a long time,resulting in the formation of an extensive development model of high pollution,high energy consumption,and high water consumption,which has brought enormous pressure to the environment.Therefore,the green innovation performance evaluation system constructed in this article conducts a multi-dimensional comprehensive evaluation to identify the shortcomings of enterprises in the development process of green innovation,and achieve a comprehensive and full understanding of the enterprise,which can better promote the overall development of the enterprise.This article reviews and organizes relevant theoretical research and empirical results at home and abroad,defines concepts such as innovation and green innovation,and selects the mining industry in China’s heavy pollution industry.Zijin Mining Group Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Zijin Mining)is the research case object.After introducing the development status of the enterprise,a brief introduction is given to the green innovation methods of the enterprise,Then,a performance evaluation system for enterprise green innovation was constructed.Based on its data from 2015 to 2021,the grey correlation analysis method and entropy value method were used to quantify the performance of enterprise green innovation.Analysis and evaluation were conducted from four dimensions: technological innovation,economic benefits,environmental benefits,and social benefits.The same indicator system and analysis method were used to select five enterprises in the same industry to analyze their green innovation performance,Horizontal comparison with Zijin Mining.Through analysis and summary,it is found that there is a mutually reinforcing relationship between green innovation performance and the four dimensions of technological innovation,economic benefits,environmental benefits,and social benefits of enterprises.From the longitudinal analysis results,Zijin Mining’s green innovation performance shows a steady upward trend over time,while in the horizontal comparison,Zijin Mining still has shortcomings compared to enterprises in the same industry in its early green innovation performance,Before2019,its performance ranking was relatively low,and its growth rate has been increasing in the past two years.Aiming at the problems encountered by Zijin Mining in the development of green innovation,this paper proposes countermeasures to improve the performance of green innovation in enterprises from the four dimensions of technological innovation,economic benefits,environmental benefits,and social benefits.These measures are not only applicable to Zijin Mining,but can also provide beneficial references for the green innovative development of the same industry.The ultimate goal is to promote sustainable development of enterprises.
