Study On Flotation Column Application In Dabaoshan Copper Cleaner Process

The traditional flotation machine equipment is mainly used in copper cleaner process of Dabaoshan,however,flotation machine has the disadvantages of unstable grade and low recovery rate of copper concentrate.In view of the large differences in crude ore properties,unstable beneficiation indexes and other problems of Dabaoshan copper mine,based on the systematic analyses of crude ore properties,copper flotation reagent system,copper flotation operation concentration,copper flotation production indexes and product inspection,the combined flotation scheme on flotation column and flotation machine is proposed.The flotation machine is used for copper rougher process,and the flotation column is used for copper cleaner process after regrinding on copper coarse concentrate,the laboratory tests and industrial tests were carried out respectively.The main conclusions of the paper are listed as follows:(1)combined with the site reagent scheme,the direct copper cleaner and regrinding cleaner were carried out with small flotation column and flotation machine under the same feeding conditions.The results show that the primary cleaner index of flotation column is better than the secondary cleaner index of flotation machine.For example,during the regrinding cleaner test on the western mine,when the feed Cu grade is0.642%,comparing two cleaners with flotation machine,one cleaner with flotation column will increase the copper grade in the copper concentrate by 3.48 percentage points and the copper recovery by 16.7 percentage points.(2)the important parameters such as gas volume and liquid level of flotation column were determined through the previous cleaner tests on small flotation column.The research scheme and conclusion achieved industrialized application in Dabaoshan 7000t/d concentrator.The flotation column equipment were used in the first and second copper cleaners with good flotation effect and stable operation indexes.The copper grade and recovery rate of copper concentrate are 20.99% and80.37% respectively when Cu grade of comprehensive crude ore is0.935%,which meets and exceeds the design requirements,achieving better economic benefits.There are 11 figures,38 tables and 109 references...
