In recent years, because of the rapid development in such trades as the electricity, electron, post and telecommunications, and transportation, etc., in our country demand for the copper increase day by day. The development and utilization state of existing copper mine resources haven't caught up with developing, greater gap between them has appeared. Thus, how to use and develope copper mine resource, and improve economic technical of copper concentrate has absorbed related concern.The history and state of the art of research and application of flotation column is discussed systematically, and further development of flotation column is predicted also. Research on floatation column has been extensively taken seriously by the researchers on mineral processing, and many kinds of floatation columns have been designed and manufactured. Cyclone-static microbubble floatation column is researched by the School of China University of Mining and Technology; it is composed of three parts: column separation part, cyclone separation part and pipe floatation part. The column separation part is located in the upper part of the floatation column; cyclone separation part is under the column separation part. They form the body of the floatation column. Pipe floatation part is composed of self-suck microbubble generator and floatation pipe. Cyclone-static microbubble floatation column has applicated on mineral processing for its special designation.This thesis about the distributary industrial experimental study of suphurated copper mine with Cyclonic Static Micro-Bubble Flotation Column in Dahong mountain of Yunnan province, which adopt thick precise two technological process replace for production purpose two thick one of flotation machine sweep three precise 6 technological process, this thesis researches mainly the influence of drug system, ore pulp density and process imparct to the whole test. Test shows the better parameter is: Yellow medicine consumption 10~15g/t, loose oil consumption 45~55g/t, handling capacity 20~23t/d, the density of the homework is 45%~49%. Also good sorting index obtained in test: the copper concentrate grade is higher than 28%, the tailing grade is lower than 0.04%, and therate of recovery keeps above 95%, which are in a leading position in the domestic same trade. Compared with the situation of routine flotation machine, the concentrate grade has been improved by 2%~4.7%, the tailing grade has been reduced by 0.015%~0.022%, and the rate of recovery has been raised by 1.5%~2%. In the course of semi-industrial experiment, fine alternative, rich collections, short procedure large operate-capacity of flotation column have been approved.The result of distributary industry experimental indicates that flotation column has better effect in selection to copper mine, which offers important information and basis for flotation column applied in DaHong mountainmine, also builds the foundation for flotation column developing in the fields of nonferrous metals.
