caused by the backlog of clothing inventory is one of the most significant problems.In order to solve these problems,sustainable fashion has become a must in the apparel industry,and the redesign method in sustainable fashion has become a powerful means to solve the inventory problem.In view of the current problem of inventory backlog,through in-depth excavation and research on the redesign method in the context of sustainable fashion,we explore innovative ways of reuse and redesign of inventory clothing,so that the intrinsic value of inventory clothing can be accepted by the clothing market,better alleviate the inventory pressure of the clothing industry,and find a sustainable development path for China’s clothing industry.First of all,through market research and literature reading,the theoretical knowledge related to sustainable fashion,one of the main contents of the subject research,was analyzed and sorted out,so as to clarify its future development direction and set a theoretical foundation without practice.First,in view of the current development status of sustainable fashion,clarify the basic concept and connotation of sustainable development,point out that the specific content it covers involves all aspects of the clothing and fashion industry,and the sustainability of design behavior is an important part of sustainable fashion;Second,through market survey analysis industry background to understand the development status of sustainable fashion,it is concluded that the development of sustainable fashion in China is still in the early stage,combined with China’s current clothing market,analyze the opportunities and challenges that may be encountered in the development process of sustainable fashion,and provide more practical and theoretical support for subsequent practice;Third,through market research to better grasp and understand the specific implementation of sustainable fashion,take fashion brands as the main body to analyze their sustainable fashion strategies,respectively in the design process of material selection and production,consumer-level marketing strategies and resource recycling to carry out research,clarify the feasibility of sustainable fashion multiple means of implementation,among which redesign sustainable fashion strategy in an important way of recycling can effectively alleviate the resource problem of the clothing industry.Secondly,based on the redesign behavior in sustainable fashion,in-depth research is carried out on fashion brands.Distinguish the behavior of fashion brand redesign into commercial brand behavior,independent designer behavior and individual designer behavior,understand the rich creativity that redesign can bring as a design strategy in sustainable fashion,and combine it with the current social situation,through the analysis of these behaviors,it can better help solve a series of problems faced by social production such as lack of innovation and serious waste of resources.Thirdly,sustainable fashion aims to solve the resource problem,so based on the inventory clothing that mainly causes the waste of resources in the clothing industry,we have carried out in-depth market research and research analysis.From the formation of inventory clothing reasons and treatment methods of market visit research,understand that the reasons for the formation of inventory clothing deep into all links of the clothing industry production chain,and the current processing methods for these inventory clothing market are also solved from the sales level alone,but
