| With the increase in population and per capita consumption, the development of the economy and the level of urbanization have made the original pattern of land use and development unable to meet the needs of human survival and development. This has caused contradictions between humans and the environment in some regions of China, such as serious environmental pollution and the degradation of ecological environmental functions. These problems not only affect people’s normal production and living order, but also are not conducive to the harmony and long-term sustainable development between humans and nature. Therefore, the study of the intensity of human activity disturbance plays a crucial role in regional sustainable development. However, existing research is mostly focused on specific ecological systems, such as watersheds, wetlands, coastlines, etc.,and there is little research on mountainous urban areas. At the same time, habitat quality is an evaluation and monitoring of biodiversity, ecological stability, and ecological functions in a specific ecological system,to determine the health status and ecological environmental quality of the ecosystem. The excavation of human disturbance patterns can capture the process of the interaction between human activity and habitat quality. Therefore,in order to explore the inherent relationship between human activity and habitat quality in mountainous county-level cities, this article takes Mianzhu City,Sichuan Province as an example, based on remote sensing images, traffic data, and socio-economic data, and constructs a spatial quantitative model of human activity disturbance intensity in mountainous county-level cities. The model quantitatively evaluates the intensity of human activity disturbance from the perspectives of "production-living-ecology".At the same time, the In VEST model is used to quantitatively evaluate the habitat quality of the research area and reveal the correlation between human activity disturbance intensity and habitat quality. The research results have important reference value for the quantitative identification and evaluation of human activity disturbance in similar cities and the coordinated development of human-environment relationships. The main research achievements are as follows:(1)An analysis of human activity disturbance intensity was carried out in Mianzhu City.Based on the constructed spatial quantitative model of human activity disturbance intensity,an analysis of human activity disturbance intensity was carried out in Mianzhu City. The study found that there were significant spatial differences in human activity disturbance intensity in Mianzhu City. The human activity disturbance intensity was low in the northwest and high in the southeast, and the spatial distribution showed strong clustering, with a decreasing trend from the southeast to the northwest. The high clustering areas were distributed in the central urban area and gradually decreased towards the surrounding areas, while the low clustering areas were distributed in the forested areas.Overall, the human activity disturbance level in Mianzhu City was at a medium to low level. From 2017 to 2021,the intensity of human activity disturbance increased significantly, especially in the central urban area, showing a trend of outward expansion.(2)The habitat quality of Mianzhu City was obtained. The study found that the habitat quality of Mianzhu City is relatively good, with excellent and good quality accounting for more than 65% of the study area, and the habitat quality shows an increasing trend from the central area to the periphery. The proportion of good habitat quality is about 12%;the proportion of poor and very poor habitat quality is less than10%.From 2017 to 2021,the habitat quality of Mianzhu City showed a decreasing trend year by year, especially with the continuous increase in poor habitat quality and the continuous reduction in medium and excellent habitat quality. This corresponds to the result of habitat degradation.(3)This paragraph describes the interaction relationship between human activity disturbance intensity and habitat quality in Mianzhu City. The study found that there was a strong negative correlation between human activity disturbance intensity and habitat quality in Mianzhu City. The Moran’s bivariate spatial autocorrelation coefficients in 2017 and 2021 were-0.742 and-0.708,respectively,indicating that high and low aggregation areas were mainly concentrated in the southeast urbanized areas with higher degree of urbanization, while low-high aggregation areas were mainly distributed in the forest areas of the northwest region, showing significant spatial differentiation. This point is also confirmed by Pearson correlation coefficients, which were-0.7756 and-0.7840 in 2017 and 2021,respectively. |
