Flame retardant materials,a new type of product that can improve combustion performance and effectively prevent flame spread,have been widely applied to various aspects of life such as transportation,electronic devices,furniture,and building materials.The increasing demand for flame retardant materials has driven intense market competition.This paper focuses on the flame retardant industry and selects MR Company,which has a relatively complete production process,certain market share and market influence,but insufficient marketing strategies,as the research target to discuss the marketing status and existing problems of flame retardant products of MR Company.This Drawing on existing research in both domestic and international markets,this article provides an in-depth study of marketing strategies within the flame retardant industry.It introduces the current state of the flame retardant industry and offers a basic profile of MR Company.By identifying and analyzing specific internal and external challenges faced by MR Company,the article identifies the issues with the company’s marketing strategies throughout the production and sales process,pinpointing reasons as well as proposing corresponding marketing optimization plans and security measures.This article offers an innovative approach in two main ways.Firstly,it emphasizes the optimization of marketing strategies specifically for flame retardant companies,which fills a gap in current research on marketing strategies for chemical enterprises,expanding upon this research area.Secondly,it explores the potential for digital transformation for MR Company,utilizing digital technology to improve product quality and service levels,in order to promote deeper integration between traditional chemical enterprises and digital technology in corporate development.Based on the above marketing problems,this paper applies the marketing theory of 4Ps to propose optimization strategies from the aspects of optimizing strategy of product hierarchy,reducing product production costs,establishing a sound marketing network,and expanding product sales channels.The paper also proposes measures to ensure the implementation of the company’s marketing strategy optimization,such as giving further attention to product research and development quality,promoting digital talent training,integrating customer resources,mining and refining corporate culture.This paper aims to enrich the investigation and research of marketing strategies in the flame retardant industry.
