High refractive index polymer optical materials are widely used in optical fields such as diffractive optical elements,microlenses,organic light-emitting diodes,image sensors and anti-reflective films because of their excellent properties such as low density,optical transparency,good impact resistance and easy processing and molding.However,the currently reported high-refractive-index polymer optical materials suffer from poor light transmission,poor heat resistance,poor weathering resistance,poor stability of optical parameters,and high cost.Therefore,in this paper,a series of high refractive index acrylic resins and click chemistry resins were designed and synthesized based on the Lorentz-Lorenz derivative formula for molecular design,and the synthesis and surface modification of metal oxide nanoparticles were investigated.Firstly,4,9-carbazole-based epoxy acrylates(G-1)were synthesized by the epoxy esterification reaction using 4-epoxypropanoxycarbazole,epichlorohydrin and potassium hydroxide as the basic raw materials;Bisphenoxyethanolfluorene,4,4’-Dihydroxytetraphenylmethane and acryloyl chloride were used as the basic raw materials to synthesize 9,9-Bis[4-(2-acryloyloxyethyloxy)phenyl]fluorene(G-2)and4,4’-diphenylmethylene diacrylate(G-3).The high refractive index acrylate polymers were prepared by thermal initiation polymerization of acrylate monomers,and the properties of the monomers and polymers were characterized and studied.The results show that the acrylate polymers have excellent light transmission and high refractive index,especially(G-1)also has fluorescent luminescence properties.Secondly,click chemistry is investigated for the preparation of optical resins with higher refractive indices,and new resins are synthesized by nucleophilic mechanism of thiol click chemistry.Thiodibenzenethiol thioaminoethyl diacrylate(G-4)was synthesized by the Thiol-Isocyanate click reaction using4,4’-Thiodibenzenethiol and 2-Isocyanatoethyl methacrylate as raw materials;Thiodibenzenethiol-bis(etherfluorenyl)acrylate(G-5)and Thiodibenzenethiol diphenylmethylene diacrylate(G-6)were synthesized by the thiol Michael reaction using 9,9-Bis[4-(2-acryloyloxyethyloxy)phenyl]fluorene(G-2),4,4’-diphenylmeth ylene diacrylate(G-3)and 4,4’-Thiodibenzenethiol.The properties of the click chemical monomers and polymers were characterized and studied.The results show that P-G-5,P-G-6 have good heat resistance and the refractive indices of the click chemistry resin polymers all exceed 1.61 at 550 nm.Finally,the preparation and surface modification of nanoparticles are explored,and the preparation of suitable polymer composites is explored.
