Paper yarn base paper is a new type of green and environmentally friendly textile material,and clothing,socks and other products made of it have the characteristics of low quantity,strong concave and convex feeling,resistance to washing and breathable and quick drying,and are more and more popular.However,at present,products made from paper yarn base paper after being spun generally have problems such as low strength and poor softness.Therefore,using softwood pulp as fiber raw material,the effects of lignin content and hemicellulose content on the tensile strength and softness of paper yarn base paper were studied,and the effects of PVA fiber,cotton fiber and various chemical additives on the performance of paper yarn base paper were studied,in order to provide guidance for the preparation of high-performance textile yarn base paper.The results of the study are as follows:Firstly,the effects of pulping degree and lignin content on the properties of paper yarn base paper were studied.With the increase of pulp beating degree(16-50°SR),the tensile index and folding resistance of the base paper gradually increased,the tear index and softness value decreased,and the softness performance improved.With the increase of sodium hypochlorite bleaching agent,the Kappa value of pulp decreases,the lignin content decreases,the tensile index,folding resistance and tear index of the base paper yarn increase,the softness value decreases,and the softness performance increases.Compared with unbleached patterns,when the Kappa value is 8.5,the tensile index of the base paper yarn is increased by 12.36%,the folding resistance is increased by 11.54%,the tear index is increased by 5.71%,and the softness value is reduced by 13.62%.Therefore,pulping and delignification are beneficial to improve the tensile strength,folding resistance and softness of the base paper.Secondly,the effect of hemicellulose content on the properties of paper yarn base paper was studied.With the increase of sodium hydroxide dosage,the content of pulp polypentose decreased,the content of hemicellulose decreased,the tensile index and folding resistance of paper yarn base paper gradually decreased,the tear index increased slightly,the softness value gradually decreased,and the softness performance improved.When the polypentose decreased from 10.6%to 6.8%,the tensile index of the base paper decreased by 8.11%,the folding resistance decreased by 6.21%,the tear index increased by 3.75%,and the softness value decreased by 9.14%.Therefore,hemicellulose is beneficial to improve the tear and softness of the base paper of the paper yarn,and is not conducive to improving the tensile strength and folding resistance.Finally,the effects of PVA fiber,cotton linter fiber and amino silicone oil softener on the properties of paper yarn base paper were studied.With the increase of PVA fiber usage,the tensile index and folding resistance of the base paper first increased,and began to decrease when the PVA fiber ratio exceeded 2%.The tear index gradually increased with the increase of PVA fiber ratio.The softness did not change significantly with the increase of PVA fiber ratio.When the amount of PVA fiber was 2%,the tensile index of the base paper reached the maximum value,which was 59.70 N·m·g-1.The folding resistance reached a maximum of 281 times;The tear index was 11.02 m N·m2·g-1;The softness value is 212.70 m N.With the increase of cotton staple fiber consumption,the tensile index,folding resistance and tear index of paper yarn base paper gradually increased.The softness value gradually decreases with the increase of cotton staple fiber dosage,and the softness performance is improved.When the amount of cotton staple fiber increased from 0%to 9%,the tensile index of the base paper yarn increased by 7.71%,the folding resistance increased by 80.69%,the tear index increased by 37.79%,and the softness value decreased by 16.08%.With the increase of the amount of amino silicone oil softener,the tensile index,folding resistance,tear index and softness values of the base paper gradually decreased,and the paper became softer.When the amount of amino silicone oil softener increased from 0%to 2%,the tensile index of the base paper decreased by 26.17%,the folding resistance decreased by 43.22%,the tear index decreased by 19.97%,and the softness value decreased by 9.34%.With the increase of PAE(i.e.polyamide epichlorohydrin)dosage,the tensile index,folding resistance and tear index of the base paper gradually increased,and when the amount of PAE exceeded1.6%,it began to decrease.The softness did not change significantly with the increase of PAE dosage.When the amount of PAE was 1.6%,the tensile index of the base paper reached the maximum value,which was 66.61 N·m·g-1.The folding resistance reached the maximum of 496 times;The tear index reached a maximum of 14.83 m N·m2·g-1.The softness value is 180.60 m N.With the increase of CNF(i.e.cellulose nanofiber)dosage,the tensile index,folding resistance,tear index and softness values of the base paper gradually increased,and the softness performance of the paper deteriorated.When the CNF dosage increased from 0%to 1.8%,the tensile index of the base paper was increased by 8.27%,the folding resistance increased by 16.38%,the tear index was increased by7.31%,and the softness value was increased by 6.19%.After single-factor test and orthogonal test,it is concluded that the optimization process of paper yarn base paper production is:bleached softwood pulp dosage of 33°SR beating degree 91%(mass percentage),PVA fiber 2%,cotton staple fiber 7%as raw materials,amino silicone oil softener dosage 1.3%,PAE dosage 1.5%,CNF dosage 1.6%.At this time,the tensile index of the base paper is 61.06 N·m·g-1,the folding resistance is585 times,the tear index is 14.49 m N·m2·g-1,and the softness value is 160.75 m N.
