In order to achieve the requirements of sustainable development,the textile industry needs to seek new types of bio-based fiber raw materials with rich resources,environmental friendliness and sustainable development to promote high-quality development.Paper yarn raw materials have become a new type of fiber material that has attracted much attention due to their wide sources,natural biodegradability,moisture absorption and breathability.Compared with traditional spinning,the production process of paper yarn is shorter and can be produced only by twisting paper,thus having significant environmental advantages.Therefore,paper yarn has great development potential,which is helpful to accelerate the development of textile industry.At present,there is little research on paper yarn and its composite yarn fabric in China,so it is necessary to conduct in-depth research on related technologies in this field.Considering the inherent poor mechanical properties of paper yarn,this research adopts the method of regenerated polyester and paper yarn composite to improve the strength,flexibility,and elasticity of paper yarn,thereby improving its weaving ability.We have developed fabrics and sock fabrics with excellent antibacterial,sweat-wicking and environmentally friendly properties,which is helpful to meet people’s needs for fashion and health.The main research content of the paper are as follows:1.In order to solve the problem of poor mechanical properties of paper yarn,high-strength recycled polyester was used to compound it,and the physical and chemical properties of the paper yarn base paper and the compounded yarn were characterized and analyzed,including morphology,infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,tensile strength,softness,washing resistance,biodegradability,moisture regain,wicking and evenness of the yarn.The results show that the fibers that make up the base paper are combined with each other to form a dense three-dimensional network structure,and the physical strength of the paper is improved,and the fracture strength of the made pure paper yarn can still be maintained at more than 90% after washing 15 times.Compared with pure paper yarn,the breaking strength of paper yarn/recycled polyester(70/30),paper yarn/recycled polyester(60/40)and paper yarn/recycled polyester(50/50)was increased by 77.9%,105.2% and 135.1%.The finite element model of yarn was established by ABAQUS software.According to the maximum stress criterion,the tensile fracture process of paper yarn model is simulated and analyzed by finite element method,which provides reference for the tensile properties of weaving paper yarn and subsequent knitting process.The raw material used for pure paper yarn is natural biodegradable material,and it was predicted by SPSS that paper yarn can be completely degraded in only 104 days.2.Using paper yarn/recycled polyester(100/0,70/30,60/40,50/50,0/100)composite yarn as raw materials,a total of 12 types of knitted fabrics were woven using the MACH2 SIG fully automatic computerized flat knitting machine with two types of tissues: weft needle and 1+1 rib.The comfort,mechanical properties,appearance preservation,and functionality of the fabrics were evaluated and analyzed,and their wearing performance was comprehensively evaluated by fuzzy mathematics comprehensive evaluation method.The results showed that the breathability,moisture permeability,and moisture conductivity of pure paper yarn knitted fabrics were better than those of pure cotton yarn fabrics,and they have good wear resistance and pilling properties.After adding recycled polyester composite,the mechanical properties,drape resistance and wrinkle elasticity were significantly improved.When selecting paper yarn/recycled polyester(60/40)composite yarn as the raw material and weft flat needle structure as the organizational structure,the paper yarn fabric has the best comprehensive performance,with an evaluation value of 0.1079.Through orthogonal test,the paper yarn fabric was softened,and the optimum process was determined as follows: the concentration of amino modified silicone was4%,the treatment temperature was 50℃,and the treatment time was 40 min.After softening,the drape coefficient of paper yarn fabric decreased by 37.5%,and the bursting strength loss was less than 15%,and its overall performance met the requirements of fabric wearability.3.A kind of antibacterial and sweat-releasing weft knitted socks fabric was designed and prepared by using composite paper yarn.The thermal resistance of paper yarn socks and ordinary cotton socks were tested by simulating the real wearing situation with a thermal manikin,and the average thermal sensation index(PMV)of the feet was predicted.The antibacterial,bursting,wear resistance,pilling resistance,air permeability,moisture permeability and p H value of paper socks before and after washing for 20 times were tested and analyzed.The results showed that paper yarn socks have good mechanical properties and comfortable wearing.At room temperature of22℃,the PMV value reached-0.7,which met the standard requirements for summer sock textiles.After repeated washing experiments,the bacteriostatic rate of paper socks against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli can still reach more than 70%,and they have certain lasting antibacterial properties.The research of this topic has achieved the expected research results,and the fabric made of paper yarn/recycled polyester composite yarn has good comfort,exploring a new path to achieve green and sustainable innovation in the textile industry. |
