A Stduy On Traditional Ecological Knowledge Of Tuyao In Hezhou

Tuyao in Pinggui District,Hezhou City,Guangxi is a relatively small group of Yao ethnic group with a total population of only 8,000 people,mainly distributed among the Mengzhu Mountains along the Nanling ethnic passageway.In the process of adapting to the ecological environment,Tuyao people have created the traditional culture with strong ethnic and regional characteristics,which contains rich ecological knowledge.Through the integration of ethnology,anthropology,ecology,ethics,ethnic ecology and other multidisciplinary research methods,this paper mainly refers to the relationship between the ethnic group and the environment,the concept of cultural adaptation,using field research methods,subject perspective and object perspective.From the technical,institutional and expression three levels,the knowledge and skills of Tuyao’s production and life,the regulations and norms of social management and life etiquette,the ecological concepts contained in folk literature and religious beliefs are comprehensively and deeply discussed.Combining with the achievements of local ecological civilization construction,this paper summarizes Tuyao’s experience in the combination of traditional ecological knowledge inheritance and innovation.The results show that,as a knowledge treasure showing the harmonious relationship between man and nature,the traditional ecological knowledge of Tuyao has the main characteristics of ethnic nature with mountain farming as the core,empirical inheritance as the main,and everyone participates in the practical.The construction of regional ecological civilization has the modern value of protecting the ecological environment and biodiversity,promoting the sustainable development of social economy and transforming the concept of harmony between man and nature.
