A Study On The Traditional Ecological Knowledge Of Buyi People In Banwan Village Of Ceheng County

Ecological issues have seriously affected the development and progress of human society.Ecological civilization construction is an important strategic decision made by China for increasingly serious ecological problems.In the process of building an ecological civilization,it is necessary to integrate local realities and promote the construction of localized ecological civilization.The Buyi ethnic group is one of the 17 indigenous peoples in Guizhou Province with a total population of nearly 3 million.It is mainly distributed in the karst topographic and geomorphological regions where the ecological environment is fragile.In the process of constantly understanding and adapting to the ecological environment,the Buyi people have created traditional Buyi culture with rich regional and ethnic characteristics.It contains rich traditional ecological knowledge.These trad itional ecological knowledge reflect the people of the Buyi ethnic group.The cognition and experience of the relation ship between people,society and the natural environment de monstrate the ecological wisdom of the Buyi people and also contribute to the protection of the natural environment.Studying the traditional ecological knowledge of the Buyi people and excavating their intrinsic value and connotation has certain guiding significance for the construction of the ecological civilization and protection and governance of the ecological environment in the Buyi region.This article is based on multidisciplinary theories of cultural ecology,geography,and ethnic ecology.It mainly adopts literature research methods,field survey methods,induction summaries and other research methods.Taking Banwan Village as a case study of the traditional ecological knowledge of the Buyi people,a scientific and systematic exploration and study of the traditional ecological knowledge of the Buyi people in the Banwan Village was conducted.They were analyzed from the three aspects of agricultural production activities,forestry production activities and living customs.Village Buyi traditional ecological knowledge and its relationship with local environmental protection.Summarizing and summing up the traditional ecological knowledge of the Buyi people in the Banwan Village has three characteristics: mystery,practicality,and typicality.The traditional ecological knowledge of the Buyi people,represented by Banwan Village,has certain practical values in the construction of ecological civilization in the Buyi region in terms of values,economic development patterns,and cultural protection.The paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part:Introduce the background of the research,the significance and purpose of the research,and comb the related research at home and abroad and interpret the ecological civilization.The second part:A brief description of Banwan Village was introduced and the natural and cultural environment of Banwan Village was introduced.The third part:The content of traditional ecological knowledge in Banwan Village was demonstrated in three aspects: agricultural production,forestry production,and living habits.The fourth part:The charac teristics of traditional ecological knowledge of Buyi people in Banwan Village are summarized,and the traditional ecological knowledge of Buyi People in Banwan Village is summarized to establish the practical value and inspiration of the ecological civilization in Buyi region.
