Research On Product Quality Improvement Of S Company Based On PDCA Theory

With the improvement of people’s living level of consumption,consumption patterns also gradually from imitation form toward diversification individuation development,product packaging from single to meet product protection function to reflect the quality of the senses such as vision,touch,smell the direction development,particularly consumer electronics frequent replacement,accelerating the demand for packaging market supply,mobile phone consumption,for example,by 2020 the phone holdings quantity is more than 1.5 billion units nationally,which means that there is 1.5 billion marketing space of phone packaging box.The international printing and packaging industry leader,S group company investment built new S company in 2018,produce and sale mobile phone packing products,services to famous mobile phone brand A customer,before formal production A customer will certificate the new product development process,the product yield have clear target requirements,therefore,the product quality control and improvement is particularly critical in the process of new product development,it will be feeling importance and the urgency of quality improve management while working in S company.In order to improve its competitiveness in package and printing market,S Company constantly increases capital investment in hardware facilities to gain the favor of customers.However,in the actual audit of production line from the customer,the mass production project is still delayed because the yield rate of mobile phone packaging products is not up to target,which further affects the company’s sales performance.PDCA theory is a concept to study the process of quality improvement,which is suitable for enterprises to guide the development of quality improvement activities.combines the theory of quality improvement with management practice,carries out a method research on product quality improvement as the theme.Firstly,quality management and quality improvement PDCA theory and sorted out the theoretical foundation of the quality tools,expounds the application of S company application of PDCA model background,then introduced background conditions of S company,collecting data of project audit result statistics from last 3 years,it exposed low yield of new products,through the PDCA analysis thinking,it expounds quality management problem as four aspects,in new project development stage of organization plan ability insufficiency,the plan implementation does not reach the designated position and lack of effective monitoring and lessons summed up at development process.It fits a pattern of PDCA to improve application scenarios,S company need to import quality improvement as the theme of the management activities.Based on new project of S company EA3780 product yield improve process as the research object,using PDCA cycle layout,according to the plan-do-check-action of four stages,each stage will analysis,checklist,bar chart,fishbone diagram,statistical process control,quality methods of experimental design and mathematical statistics analysis tool,according to the eight steps of PDCA to promote product quality improvement activities,product yield in two weeks climbing at development stage increased by 12%,achieved the yield goal setting,and passed certification audit from customer,the successful experience of EA3780 project product quality improvement has laid a foundation for the subsequent quality improvement management of S Company.In this thesis,the research results of PDCA model combined with quality tool application in each stage are expected to play a certain reference role for domestic packaging and printing enterprises to implement similar quality improvement management.
