Research On The Design Of Cultural And Creative Products Of The Dong Ethnic Group Straw Weaving Process In Longsheng Under The Concept Of Sustainable Development

Grass weaving culture is an important component of traditional Chinese culture,with rich cultural heritage and emotional accumulation.It has been passed down for hundreds of years with its unique artistic form and technology.The value of grass weaving products is reflected in the integration of aesthetics,economy,and practicality.The grass weaving process in Guangnan,Longsheng,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region conveys people’s understanding and practice of beauty,as well as their pursuit and longing for beautiful wishes,and has a strong "local" artistic value.With the development of the economy,the economic value of straw weaving products is increasingly prominent,and the raw materials of handmade straw weaving products come from land,and their craftsmanship is also pure natural,with high environmental value,in line with the current design trend of "sustainable development".Secondly,cultural and creative products also play an important role in our daily life.Cultural and creative products radiate new vitality through innovative design methods.Therefore,the main purpose of this article is to explore how to bring traditional handicrafts back to life and allow people to enjoy the pleasure brought by green design to their daily lives.The author of this article first conducted on-site research by visiting artists and using methods such as conversation and Q&A to communicate with relevant personnel.They understood the regional culture and ethnic characteristics of the Dong ethnic group in Guangnan,delved into the craft and techniques of Longsheng straw weaving,and through literature review,case analysis,and other methods,explored the feasibility design ideas of combining Longsheng straw weaving technology with cultural and creative products under the sustainable development concept advocated today,Secondly,taking Longsheng Dong culture as the starting point,we aim to trace the origin of Dong culture.Its traditional architectural forms,instrumental music culture,folk customs,totem patterns,and other aspects have been endowed with new creative ideas.By using methods such as pattern extraction,process integration,and regional cultural exploration to broaden the application field of Longsheng grass weaving,enrich the types of grass weaving cultural and creative products,analyze their sustainability from the materials,culture,and technology of grass weaving cultural and creative products,and apply principles and methods such as circular design and emotional durable design to explore the design of grass weaving cultural and creative products in practice.Enhance the influence of the Longsheng Dong ethnic group’s straw weaving and provide an effective way for the dissemination of traditional straw weaving techniques.
