Research On Inheritance And Innovative Application Of Bright Fabric Of Dong Ethnic Group

As an important part of China’s intangible cultural heritage,traditional skills are the treasure of The Wisdom and civilization of the Chinese nation,and the source of confidence and solid foundation for building a powerful culture.Promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese traditional skills is the fundamental method to make traditional culture keep its vitality and long standing under the changing times.As a unique fabric processing technology in southwest China,traditional bright fabric of Dong ethnic group technology is also the product of gradual evolution along with the development of ancient Dong ethnic group clothing materials,which has a long production history and profound cultural connotation.The traditional bright fabric of Dong ethnic group is made of cotton cloth spun,woven and dyed by the Dong people.The production process is very complicated,requiring special processes such as dipping,gluing,beating and steaming.Materials of bright fabric of Dong ethnic group are from the natural organic matter growing on the land,and the real green fabric,which are beautiful and practical,green friendly environmental,and pose unique style,unique ethnic characteristics.Based on the traditional skills of bright fabric of Dong ethnic group,the author explores the innovative forms and artistic expression of various materials in bright fabric of Dong ethnic group,so as to seek for the new scheme of traditional skills and sustainable development of innovative fabrics in costume art design under the background of ethnic culture.This article is divided into five chapters to discuss the inheritance and innovative application of bright fabric of Dong ethnic group.The first chapter introduces the research background and research significance of this topic,analyzes the skill characteristics and development situation of bright fabric of Dong ethnic group,clears the research purpose,combs the research train of thought,and puts forward the importance,difficulty and innovation of this research.In Chapter 2,taking bright fabric of Dong ethnic group as the main research object,this chapter states the formation and development of bright fabric,records and combs the characteristics of technological process of bright fabric,and then summarizes the regional differences and features of bright fabric through tracing the overview of bright fabric of Dong ethnic group.Combined with the case,Chapter 2 also analyzes the application status of bright fabric in Dong ethnic group’s traditional costumes and current fashion design,and demonstrates the value of traditional bright fabric technology under the concept of sustainability.In Chapter 3,based on the learning and knowledge of bright fabric skill,taking the main skills of fabricating bright fabric as the experimental method combined with material innovation design,this chapter explores inheritance and innovative application of intangible heritage techniques and green ecological materials from innovative research and experiment of dyeing,gluing,beating,composite,pleating,et al.The chapter 4,designs clothing series with two themes according to the traditional bright fabric process technique and material innovation experiment.The first series was themed “stacking”,this series retains the blue dye gene of bright cloth,absorbs the layered wearing of Dong female finery,carries out innovation practice of new Dong cloth materials and provides thinking and reference for the subsequent inheritance and development of Dong bright cloth.The second series is “coagulation”,this series of design with traditional Dong bright cloth art as the core,the use of traditional plant dye yam dyeing material,into our modern city in the daily life of common dyeing material such as onions coffee and tea,with the traditional sizing process of Dong traditional intangible skill in exploration and performance of new fashion,designer of original mind.The chapter 5 summarizes the development prospect of the integration of traditional bright fabric technology and ecological materials,and looks forward to the broader and deeper practical application of innovative materials of bright fabric cloth technology in clothing design.To sum up,relying on the traditional bright fabric of Dong ethnic group,this paper combines intangible heritage handicraft of bright fabric with modern design art through exploratory experiments to carry out material innovation,explore new ideas and methods of material innovation and design innovation,and promote the integration of traditional craftsmanship and current art fashion.
