Research On The Application Of Patchwork Art In Lady Dress Design

Patchwork art,as a traditional Chinese cultural skill,has a long history and strong local cultural characteristics.With the evolution of time,the aesthetic value of quilting has gradually exceeded its economic value and become a new form of art design.Dress,in the clothing always has a pivotal position,the advanced dress can not be separated from the exquisite craft and aesthetic.The art of quilting enriczes the design of formal dress.The design of formal dress makes the integration of traditional handicrafts quilting and current trends more fashionable,both of which are of great significance to the fashion field.This study combines the two methods and studies the application of quilting art in contemporary dress design through literature research,comparison and practice research,aiming to explore its innovative design methods in dress design,so that the quilting art can be inherited and innovated in dress design.This paper consists of five parts.The first chapter mainly introduces the development of quilting aesthetics at home and abroad,and the definition and relationship between quilting and dress.The second chapter systematically discusses and analyzes the expression forms,patterns,colors,fabric texture and stitching of quilts in the dress.The third chapter summarizes the creative design mode of quilting art in the dress creation,and carries out innovative design experiments according to the key innovative methods,and further discusses the innovative design mode of quilting art in the dress field.In chapter 4,based on the above theories and innovative practices,a series of innovative patchwork dress works are created by adopting the steps of theme setting,creative transformation and trend research.The fifth chapter summarizes the conclusion and puts forward the prospect.Through the above studies,we can draw the following conclusions: First,in dress design,quilting art is inclusive of diversified design techniques,and these expression methods are of great significance to dress innovation.Secondly,the concept of sustainability and nostalgia of quilting art can inject connotation and spirit into the dress,which can meet the needs of consumers for personalized and emotional expression of the dress.Third,contemporary patchwork dress can be innovated through the use of "three-dimensional patchwork" and other Chinese intangible cultural heritage techniques.This paper hopes to provide new ideas for the innovative design of quilt art in dress design through the theoretical induction and the analysis of specific practical cases.
