Innovative Application And Practice Of Patchwork Technology In Denim Clothing Design

The patchwork process has a long history and profound connotations.Designers can express their creative ideas well through the patchwork process.At present,the form of patchwork in the Chinese market is mostly in the form of daily patchwork,and there is still significant room for development in applying patchwork techniques to clothing design.The characteristics and forms of patchwork are in line with the current concept of sustainable development,which to some extent reflects the concept of "making the most of everything".This study focuses on the different manifestations of traditional Chinese patchwork techniques as the main theoretical basis for research.It explores how to combine traditional Chinese patchwork techniques with denim clothing design,enrich and develop traditional Chinese patchwork techniques,and integrate them into denim clothing design.It explores new methods for denim clothing design,inheriting the concepts of traditional patchwork techniques and sustainable development design.This article explains the concept of traditional patchwork technology and analyzes the patterns,fabrics,and color expressions of traditional Chinese patchwork technology.It summarizes the innovative application forms of patchwork technology in modern clothing design,and then analyzes and summarizes methods from the patterns,colors,and methods of patchwork technology in the expression of denim clothing.The performance methods of the patchwork process summarized in the previous theoretical research include irregular patterns,different fabrics,and various color combinations.The performance methods are innovatively combined with denim clothing.In the practical process,the author effectively utilizes leftover materials to achieve environmental protection effects.The author conducted a feasibility study on the combination design of patchwork and denim through practice,expressing various possibilities of denim through patchwork.From fabric reconstruction to series design,these practices have presented an intuitive effect on the performance of patchwork technology in denim clothing design.Finally,it is proposed that the combination of patchwork technology and denim clothing design meets the aesthetic needs of consumers and market development trends,and has great development prospects.I hope to provide reference for new ideas in denim clothing design by summarizing the theory of patchwork technology and analyzing specific design cases.
