Abstract/Summary:
Twin roll casting technology is an innovative metallurgical process technology,which has been widely used in many countries due to its significant reduction in the production process and cost of thin strip metal materials.In China,the technology is in the promotion and application stage,and there is still a certain gap between the technical level and those of countries that started earlier.Double roll casting technology has the advantages of simple structure,small floor area,and few control links,but it requires relatively high control systems,especially for the control of casting force and roll gap.Only by ensuring its control accuracy and response speed can the stability of product quality be ensured.Otherwise,it will not only affect product quality,but also cause production accidents.In this thesis,based on the actual project of twin roll casting and rolling,for the control of the casting and rolling force of copper strip,a set of control system using a upper and lower computer structure is designed.The core controller is the Siemens S7-1500 series PLC,and the drive device is the German Kobe servo system.The entire control system uses PROFINET network for communication connection,which can monitor various parameter changes during the production process at any time,and facilitate human-computer interaction,To provide a hardware platform for accurate casting and rolling force control,ensuring the smooth progress of the entire process.Then,a detailed comparative analysis of the external factors that affect the precision of casting force control,existing control methods,and control system characteristics is conducted.Based on the analysis results,a new method of casting force control based on the combination of cerebellar neural network and PID is proposed.Finally,using MATLAB software to conduct control algorithm simulation verification on the casting force control model,the system performance indicators of several control methods were obtained.Through comparison of simulation results,it can be seen that the control method combining cerebellar neural network and PID has better control algorithm simulation results compared to traditional PID control and fuzzy PID control.It can be seen that the new control method proposed in this paper for the casting force of double roll casting copper strip is effective,And expects to obtain better system control accuracy and dynamic quality in actual system operation.
