With the continuous development of society, the contradiction between economic growth and ecological environment is becoming more and more prominent, ecological issues have become a priority for the Prime Minister to solve.Xi Jinping emphasises: "We have to get the ecology right;ecological issues are directly related to the people’s well-being".Eco-ethics as a brand new concept of development is the cornerstone of harmonious social development and a remedy for the relationship between man and nature and environmental problems. The Marxist theory of practice is a transcendence of the traditional view of practice and holds the key to solving the riddle of the ecological crisis. The way of thinking from the practical point of view is what distinguishes Marxist philosophy from traditional philosophy, and it is also where the rules, ways and means of thinking about relevant philosophical issues lie.The question of the relationship between man and the world around him(i.e.man and the environment)is both a central issue in philosophy and a central issue that people must address in order to develop practical ecological conservation in real society. This study is based on the Marxist concept of practice and combines contemporary ecological civilisation with the contemporary findings of Marxist practice theory-the "practical perspective way of thinking"-to consider and argue for specific issues in contemporary ecological civilisation practice. In the structure of the argument, the paper begins by asking about the root causes of the ecological crisis.Through the analysis of the ecological crisis suffered by human beings in modern society, the root causes of the ecological crisis are identified in terms of globalisation, consumption patterns and technological alienation, and the reflection of contemporary people on the dilemma of survival and the rise of eco-ethical thinking is explained. It then explores the scientific connotations of a practical approach to thinking and its links with contemporary ecoethical thinking, and emphasises that a "practical approach to thinking" is the key to solving contemporary ecological problems. The study then draws on traditional Chinese and Western ecoethical thinking to enrich and improve contemporary ecoethical thinking. Finally, the study elaborates on practical strategies for building contemporary ecoethical concepts based on a new relationship between human beings and nature and a new concept of human beings and nature from a practical perspective. The main conclusions of this study are: firstly, the way of thinking from the practical perspective is compatible with the historical process of building ecological civilization and its mode of production;secondly, the inter-subjectivity of "man ←→practice ←→nature" formed under the guidance of the way of thinking from the practical perspective provides an ecological ethical construction of "man and nature as one in harmony"."Thirdly, the new ethical, value and aesthetic relationship between human beings and nature and the new value concept of survival, consumption, development and good living between human beings and nature are the realistic strategies for the construction of contemporary eco-ethical concepts.
