Research On The Application Of Traditional Brick And Masonry Technology In Southern Fujian In Modern Residential Design

The scope of the definition of residential design usually refers to decorative arts and interior space layout of commodity housing and villa residence,which is bound up with the improvement of people’s living standard.Residential design could influence the geographical,natural and cultural each other,also is people’s perception of native culture and the direct reflection of acceptance.In the process of the development of modern cities,the corresponding trend of localization came into being,and the trend of emphasizing diversification and nationalization was increasingly strengthened.At that time,the design directly applied to ethnic or traditional design was also gradually favored by the industry,and the relevant application practice and academic research also emerged in an endless stream.Here,how to better combine traditional architectural elements with local culture in the field of design has gradually become a key topic of discussion in the industry.This paper briefly expounds the cultural connotation,inheritance and development of the "intangible cultural heritage" of folk dwellings in southern Fujian,tries to dig deeply into the inheritance of the traditional building material--"brick",and tries to explore the ways or methods of the development and inheritance of the traditional folk dwellings’ craft in modern residential design.To a school’s geographical advantage on parts of the south fujian traditional dwellings for field trips,to study and find minnan traditional local-style dwelling houses the correspondency of masonry technique and modern residential design,namely to combines the method of praxis about normal cases with relevant modern design theory,in order to investigate the intangible skill in reshaping in the design of modern residential space and the possibility of regeneration and rationality and scientific nature,intended to provide some reference for the modern art design creation,to improve people’s recognition of the importance of intangible cultural heritages,or seek the way of modern civilization and traditional spirit of symbiosis.
