Research On The Emotional Expression Of War Memorial Architecture Space From The Perspective Of Narration

War memorial buildings are a type of memorial buildings.The objects of commemoration are historical events or historical figures related to the war,and what they want to reflect is the objective perception of a particular period.On the one hand,war memorial buildings have the function of carrying historical memory and are an important material carrier for people to perceive history and experience war scenes;on the other hand,they have unique spiritual connotations and emotional needs,which can trigger a dialogue between visitors and the architectural space,thereby creating Create different emotional atmospheres.War memorial architectural space has a strong demand for emotional expression.However,with the increasing number of practical works of war memorial buildings at home and abroad in recent years,the people’s aesthetics for architecture has gradually improved,and the traditional space design methods that focus on display spaces cannot accurately express the memorial emotions.Based on the above background,this article proposes to introduce the theory of "narratology" into the field of architectural design,and explore the specific strategies of emotional expression in war memorial architecture space by learning from the research methods of narratology.This article is roughly divided into four parts:The first part mainly summarizes the relationship between narrative and emotional expression of architectural space on the basis of literature materials and related case studies.The second part summarizes the related content of war memorial architecture.and explores the emotional type,emotional sequence and emotional meaning of war memorial architecture space,and extracts the influencing factors of the emotional expression of war memorial architecture space.The third part analyzes the constituent elements of the emotional expression of war memorial architectural space from the two levels of the surface symbol and the expression mode of the architectural space.The fourth part is the core content of this article:First,according to the integrity of the narrative,the focus of the narrative,and the effectiveness of emotions,the principle of emotional expression in the space of war memorial buildings from the perspective of narrative is proposed.Secondly,from the three perspectives of narrative sequence,narrative structure,and narrative techniques,it summarizes the operating mechanism of the emotional expression of war memorial architecture space from the narrative perspective.Finally,combined with the conceptual design of Xiamen Hulishan Peace Park that the author participated in,the specific design techniques were analyzed and verified.I hope that the research in this article will enable us to have a deeper emotional understanding of war memorial buildings.At the same time,it also provides certain ideas for the future space design of war memorial buildings and the application of emotional expression strategies.
