Research On The Methodology Of Historic Space Landscape And Visual Impact Assessment Based On Value Orientation

The historical space constituted by the heritage and the environment of the place where it is located has a holistic view of the aesthetic significance and is an important external manifestation of the heritage value,carrying the collective memory of the life of urban residents.However,in recent years,due to the lack of effective control means,historical spaces are often damaged in development and construction,which directly affects the continuation of heritage values and deprives people of their memories of places.In this context,how to reduce or mitigate the impact of construction projects on the physical landscape and visual environment of historic spaces through refined control,to achieve the continuation and revitalization of the material and social values of historic spaces and maintain the balance between the preservation of historic spaces and urban development is an urgent and critical issue.This paper takes landscape and visual impact assessment as a methodological opportunity to localize and utilize it for research,using the dialectical relationship between landscape and vision to communicate the material and social ontology of historical space,protect the scenery seen by urban residents and build a heritage value-oriented approach to landscape and visual impact assessment of historical space.This paper is divided into four sections:research foundation,frontier introduction,framework construction,and methodological practice,with a value orientation.The research foundation section defines the concepts of value,historic space and impact assessment through literature analysis and case studies elaborates the relationship between value carrier and impact receptor and discusses the dialectical relationship between landscape and vision.The section compares the current status of research on the value of historical space,analyzes the theories and methods of landscape and visual impact assessment,the application cases of landscape and visual impact assessment in historical space,and summarizes the problems of the application cases in historical space.The framework construction section introduces both material and social aspects of value into landscape and vision,and value conservation and development into continuity and activation and impact,and builds a "cross" with landscape and vision as the horizontal axis and continuity and activation and impact as the vertical axis,based on the theory of living value conservation,environmental impact assessment theory and visual perception and aesthetic theory.The theoretical framework is formed,and the methodological framework with assessment content,workflow,and technical tools is the core.It realizes the innovation of assessment content with the sensitivity of value carriers as the core,the innovation of workflow with parallel re-integration of landscape vision,and the innovation of assessment tools with the integration of multiple technologies.This paper applies the landscape and visual impact assessment as a control tool to the historical space that is most contradictory to urban development,which not only strengthens the protection of the material and social values of the historical space but also expands the idea of the application of impact assessment in heritage conservation and development.This methodological framework is constructed to facilitate future impact assessment of construction projects around historic spaces and to realize the continuity of spatial vitality and historical memory.
