Advances in technology have driven the development of intelligent driving. In intelligent driving, the in-vehicle self-organizing network provides support for communication between vehicles, allowing vehicles to exchange information on road conditions and driver behavior to ensure the safety of intelligent driving.Among them, the routing protocol is the key to ensure the communication quality. Therefore, this paper studies the routing protocol in vehicle self-organization in detail by combining theoretical analysis, algorithm design and simulation verification.Firstly, the characteristics, architecture and applications of vehicular ad hoc networks are described. The routing protocols in vehicular ad hoc networks are classified, and the typical routing protocols in each kind of routing protocols are analyzed. The joint simulation platform is composed of discrete event simulation software, urban traffic simulation software and intermediate vehicle traffic control interface.Secondly,a routing protocol based on dynamic clustering Algorithm is proposed. This paper analyzes the causes of network congestion and network overhead in the process of routing request and routing response, and establishes a new routing request and routing response process. In the new routing request process, the number of routing request messages used for routing discovery is significantly reduced, which reduces the congestion in the whole network, reduces the network overhead, and improves the performance of traditional on-demand routing protocol. Finally,a hybrid routing protocol based on K-means clustering algorithm is proposed, which combines the maximum stable set problem and continuous Hopfield neural network to improve the data transmission at high speed. The maximum stable set problem solved by continuous Hopfield neural network is used to select suitable cluster heads, and the choice of new cluster heads in the process of clustering is determined.
