Research On Vehicle Electric Separation Business Model Of NIO

In recent years,as people pay attention to the global environment,new energy vehicles have come into being.The components produced by traditional fuel cars will cause pollution to the environment,so people began to devote themselves to the study of new energy vehicles,and over time,new energy vehicles will likely fully replace fuel cars.So at present not only many traditional car enterprises began to produce new energy vehicles,but also gave birth to a number of new car enterprises that only research and produce new energy vehicles.As more and more companies enter the market,competition is bound to become more and more fierce,and therefore,the control of costs and the choice of business model becomes more and more important.In new energy vehicles,the cost of the battery accounts for most of the cost of the vehicle,about 40%.Therefore,if the cost of the battery can be excluded,consumers can save a lot of money when purchasing a car.In this case,a new business model was born: "vehicle-electricity separation" business model.Especially in recent years,the government’s subsidies for new energy vehicles have declined,and the role of "vehicle-electricity separation" is more obvious,which can save consumers a lot of costs at once.However,since this model is new in recent years,there are few studies on it and few vehicle manufacturers have actually applied it in reality,so this paper will use NIO’s vehicle-electricity separation business model as a case study.In this paper,we use NIO’s Baa S model as a case study,based on the theoretical basis of integrated and innovative business models,a combination of case study,literature analysis,and sensitivity analysis.The model is judged from the perspectives of customers,NIO,partners,and the comparison with other energy renewal methods.The research found that NIO’s Baa S model can effectively address customer needs and has a positive effect on NIO’s own performance,with a large increase in sales,while the partner company,NIO Energy,has a strong profitability as predicted by the formula,so through this comprehensive analysis,this paper concludes that NIO’s Baa S business model has a good future.
