| China is a well deserved country with abundant paleontological fossil resources,wide distribution and many kinds,but the work of paleontological science popularization has a long way to go.With the change of the focus of the needs of public life,the traditional form of paleontological product design can not meet the experience needs of people in the process of consumption.The design upgrading of cultural and creative product development is an urgent task in the process of disseminating paleontological science and culture.The introduction of multi sensory experience design concept can transform cold and distant paleontological fossils into products full of life flavor,realize consumers’ spiritual demands for paleontological cultural and creative products,and is conducive to the popularization of paleontological cultural knowledge.Taking the paleontological fossil resources in Hezheng area of Gansu Province as the foothold of design practice,combined with the in-depth research of field investigation,this paper puts forward some problems in the design of paleontological cultural and creative products in Hezheng area,such as lack of interactive experience and lack of cultural connotation.By introducing the design concept of multi sensory experience,different sensory system channels are opened and combined to trigger,so that consumers can obtain diversified and multi-level sensory experience,so as to produce a more intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the paleontological knowledge and culture embodied in the products,and then summarize the value and significance of the concept of multi sensory experience in paleontological cultural and creative design.Through three design levels,the corresponding table of design elements of multi sensory experience paleontological cultural and creative products is extracted from the perspective of multi sensory experience elements,audience and paleontological cultural and creative products,so as to summarize the design principles of theme serialization,sensory trade-off,element synchronization and innovative expression,and put forward the design methods of "form","meaning" and "environment" according to the perceptual level,cognitive level and emotional memory level,Then it constructs the design process of multi sensory experience applied to paleontological cultural and creative products.Finally,the design practice of Hezheng paleontological cultural and creative products under multi sensory experience is completed,in order to enrich the sensory experience dimension of Hezheng paleontological cultural and creative product design,help to transmit and expand the influence of Hezheng paleontological culture,and provide innovative ideas for paleontological cultural and creative design. |
