The application of vehicle-to-vehicle visible light communication(V2V-VLC)is limited by challenges such as great influence of environmental noise and poor stability of mobile communication.These problems can be optimized by optical antenna.To solve the above problems,this paper proposes the design and optimization strategy of fluorescent antenna(FA)for V2V-VLC.Based on the working principle of FA and the application characteristics of vehicle communication,the optimization parameters of geometric optics and non-geometric optics are proposed.The influence of each parameter on the performance of FA is studied and analyzed,and the corresponding optimization strategies are summarized.Finally,the optimized FA is prepared for the commercial laser headlight-based VLC system.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Structural design and optimization of FA.The working principle of FA is studied and analyzed.Compared with the advantages of traditional optical antenna,FA breaks the conservation of etendue and realizes the enhancement of field of view(FOV)performance and optical gain.The bandwidth model of FA is determined,and the simulation model of FA is built.The optimized parameters in the process of geometric optics and non-geometric optics in FA are pointed out.The effects of coating structure and shape parameters on the performance of FA are simulated and experimentally studied.For vehicle visible light communication,a "light-trapping" structure combining low-pass filter and reflector is proposed,and the optimization strategy of receiving area and thickness parameters of FA is summarized(2)Research and optimization of fluorescent functional structure of FA.The nongeometric optical process of FA is optimized,and the effects of different packaging carriers,fluorescent particle types,particle concentrations and functional particle modifications on the performance of FA are studied.The optimization strategies of packaging carrier,fluorescent particle type and particle concentration are summarized.The effects of SBA-15 and nano silver functional particles on the performance of FA are studied,and the optimization direction of functional particles modifying fluorescent particles is summarized(3)Research on the application of FA in V2V-VLC.Based on the commercial laser headlight,the VLC system is built.The signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and data transmission performance of the FA are tested.The SNR performance of the laser headlight VLC system equipped with FA is more stable,and the data transmission performance shows wider applicability while maintaining a high level.The layout strategy of photodetector(PD)in V2V-VLC system is analyzed.The FA is introduced to optimize the layout arrangement and simulation experiment is conducted.A better layout strategy of the combination of FA and PD(FAPD)is obtained.
