Research On Narrative Design Of Theme Museum Space

Using the methods of literature research,cross research,case analysis,sorting and induction and field investigation,this paper makes a comprehensive study on the theory and method of theme museum spatial narrative.At the same time,it combines theory and practice to deeply study the application of spatial narrative in Museum exhibition space design.Firstly,it defines the related concepts of narratology and defines the category of spatial narrative research.This paper studies the transformation process of the development of narratology from emphasizing the "time" level to highlighting the "space" level,as well as the translation of narrative vocabulary,so as to lay a foundation for the research of spatial narrative theory.Secondly,it studies the narrative structure layer by layer,including narrative elements,narrative structure,narrative experience and narrative construction,so as to provide theoretical support for the subsequent case study.By exploring man himself and the relationship between man and space,this paper reveals the physiological and psychological reactions of man’s sensory system and perceptual state under the stimulation of external things in different spaces.Secondly,it studies the temporal and spatial expressions of different media in spatial narration.Through the text space narrative in the novel,the image space narrative in painting,sculpture and film,the historical space narrative in ruins and relics,and the architectural landscape space narrative in the museum display space,this paper studies the script design,image language,place expression and spatial structure of the museum space narrative.Through the study of the above narrative media,it provides broader research clues and ideas for the spatial narrative of theme museums.Thirdly,it studies the theme content and structural form of museum display space narrative,makes a field investigation on comprehensive museums and theme museums,compares and analyzes these two kinds of museums,and summarizes the expression media and expression methods of space narrative,which provides a methodology for empirical research of design.The specific methodology includes: script design of narrative clues,basic mode presentation of image narrative,time and space expression of image media,arrangement of theme content and structural form of display,place design of historical space and atmosphere construction of historical space,etc.Finally,I choose Shandong Tengzhou Han painting stone Museum as the design site to practice the spatial narrative of museum display design.The exhibition space defined in this design practice includes: architectural space,indoor space,exhibition space and landscape space.The practice covers three main aspects: the design of Museum exhibition space,the Han Dynasty stone carving art as the main body of exhibition and the expression of spatial narration.I have made breakthroughs in the following aspects: the expression of the relationship between multi-media and theme in spatial narration;The application of nonlinear juxtaposition of multi sub theme space in exhibition space;Through the spatial treatment of media narration in existence space,it affects the viewer’s conscious space;Indoor and outdoor display space,unified expression of narrative theme,etc.
