The railway is an important national transportation infrastructure and a major livelihood project,and it plays a key role in promoting social development and serving economic construction.As a part of railway construction,the development of railway communication will efectively promote the transformation of high-speed railway to digitization,informatization and intelligence.In order to meet the needs of comprehensive perception of environmental information,ubiquitous interconnection,fusion processing and scientifc decision-making by intelligent high-speed railways,the development of the Fifth Generation Mobile Communication System(5G)technology in railways has become the general trend.The China State Railway Group will focus on The Fifth Generation Mobile Communications for Railway(5G-R).5G-R will bring an increase in terminal speed,an increase in device connection density,a reduction in end-to-end latency,and an increase in energy efciency.High-precision and high-efciency wireless network planning and optimization is an important link in the construction and development of the next-generation railway private network 5G-R,and coverage planning optimization is not only a key point,but also a key and difcult point.This dissertation focuses on the main line in typical 5G-R scenarios,and combines ray tracing and optimization algorithms to design a ray tracing-based wireless network coverage planning optimization technique.The main contributions of the dissertation include:(1)Based on the existing ray tracing simulator,a model format conversion tool for Building Information Modeling(BIM)is developed,and the ray tracing propagation mechanism models are also improved for the Planet electronic map format.Expand the ray tracing simulator to make it suitable for wireless channel simulation of 5G-R main line scenarios.(2)According to the particularity of 5G-R wireless network planning and optimization,a hierarchical optimization technology is designed.The frst-level optimization is for the location of the basestation,and the second-level optimization is for the parameters of the basestation.A genetic algorithm for railway scenarios is designed,and then the basic genetic algorithm is further improved,and an adaptive genetic algorithm and a non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm are designed.(3)Integrating ray tracing and hierarchical optimization,a 5G-R wireless network coverage planning optimization algorithm is designed which integrates planning and optimization,completes automatically,and does not require manual intervention.Taking the main line of Jingshen railway scenario as an example,the simulation and analysis of wireless network coverage planning optimization are carried out,the performance of the three genetic algorithms are compared,and the basestation location deployment and parameters of the 5G-R main line scenario are suggested.In summary,this dissertation designs an optimization algorithm for railway trafc 5G-R wireless network coverage planning based on the extended high-performance ray tracing simulator and hierarchical optimization.This research provides technical support and efective tools for the design of future 5G-R wireless network planning and optimization.
