With the rapid development of high-speed rail network in China,passenger demand for high-speed rail has increased rapidly.Therefore,high-speed rail has become the main mode of passenger transportation.At the same time,the requirement for travel quality has improved constantly and the travel demand are characterized by individualization,diversification and customization.Due to the volatility and randomness of passenger demand,the traditional transport organization with plan based on forecast is difficult to grasp the real-time dynamic passenger demand timely and accurately.How to grasp personalized passenger demand and achieve accurate match between resource and demand has become an important issue,which railway operator is increasingly concerning about.Demand responsive train can be regarded as a part of train operation plan in real time according to actual travel demand of reserved passengers,which can reduce the operating cost of high-speed rail effectively,matching passenger demand and achieving match between supply and demand.There are few studies on demand responsive train in existing research.The research mainly studies the passenger choice behavior and passenger assignment of high-speed rail with demand responsive train.The main work are as follows:(1)The concept,advantages and disadvantages of demand responsive train are studied.Moreover,the heterogeneity of high-speed rail passengers and influencing factors on choice behavior of demand responsive train are analyzed.(2)Based on the above analysis,the orthogonal design method was used to design and carry out the passenger choice behavior experiment.With the ML model,a passenger travel choice model considering demand responsive train was constructed.The parameters in three scenarios were estimated respectively.The behavior rules of passengers choosing demand responsive train were analyzed.(3)Based on passenger choice behavior,considering constraints such as train operation,capacity,passenger allocation and headway,with the goal of minimizing passenger travel costs and maximizing train operating benefits,a passenger assignment model with demand responsive train is constructed.An iterative solution algorithm is designed for large-scale problems.The model mainly allocates heterogeneous passengers to planning or demand responsive train in the mixed train timetable,with the result of whether demand response train operate or not,adjusting the arrival and departure time of demand responsive train.(4)Taking Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail as an example,considering the actual passenger flow and timetable,the heterogeneous passenger flow data and mixed train timetable were constructed,verifying the feasibility and effectiveness of the passenger assignment model in the actual case.The result shows that although the travel cost of demand responsive train is higher than that of planning train in the mixed train timetable,the time gap between real and expected departure time of demand responsive train is smaller,indicating that it can match the passenger demand well.Furthermore,the demand responsive train can reduce the number of rolling stocks on the basis of satisfying travel demand of passengers,improving utilization efficiency of high-speed rail resources.In the end,the total operation cost of high-speed rail can be reduced feasibly.With 22 figures,58 tables and 103 reference literatures.
