| Porous metal foams are widely used in the fields of building engineering and shock absorption materials because of their advantages of light weight,high specific strength,strong energy absorption and low density.In addition,many kinds of composite materials can be prepared by filling other materials.The composite material is a kind of multi-purpose engineering material with excellent performance.In this paper,a composite material with specific mechanical properties was prepared by filling epoxy into the porous foamed nife material,and the compressive and tensile properties of the composite material were studied experimentally,the effects of different PPI foamed ferronickel and temperature on the mechanical properties of the composites were discussed.First,quasi static compression tests and tensile tests at room and low temperatures were performed on the foamed epoxy interpenetrating composites.Under the condition of changing PPI and temperature of foamed nickel-iron,by observing the damage form and process of composite material,the Stress–strain curve of composite material was analyzed,and the best fit PPI with epoxy was obtained,the Effects of Energy Absorption,PPI and temperature on the tensile properties of foamed Nife were investigated.Secondly,the compression process of the foamed nife/epoxy composite is simulated by establishing the finite element model of the epoxy composite,and the numerical simulation results are compared with the Stress–strain curve of the experimental results,the rationality of the finite element model of foamed nickel iron epoxy composite was verified.By observing the mechanical process of foamed epoxy composites,it is found that the prisms of foamed epoxy and foamed ferronickel do not peel off or fall off,this shows that the foamed ferronickel epoxy composite has good integrity and stability,and by analyzing the energy absorption data of foamed ferronickel of different sizes,it was found that the effective elastic modulus,specific stiffness and energy absorption per unit volume of three IPC materials were all higher than that of pure nife foam.At the same time,it is found that PPI selection has a great influence on the tensile properties of composites,and the suitable PPI can significantly change the Brittleness of epoxy,the results show that the tensile strength,tensile Modulus,elongation at break and specific work of fracture are greatly affected by different temperatures. |
