With the acceleration of urbanization and the continuous improvement of traffic conditions,China has basically formed a comprehensive urban transportation system consisting of private cars,buses,rail transit,bicycles,electric vehicles and other modes of transportation.Especially in megacities such as Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and Shenzhen,long-distance trips between districts and even cities are more common.For the needs of long-distance travel,multi-mode travel has become a more common travel mode,and the journey time of the whole journey has become the leading factor of travelers’ decision.However,due to the impact of road congestion,road construction and other factors,the actual travel time is often uncertain,which leads to the reliability of travel time.In a multi-mode transportation system,travelers always hope to improve the reliability of travel time to select travel modes and routes,and management departments also hope to improve the reliability of the system by improving road network conditions.Based on the above background,this paper studies the design of multi-mode transportation network considering travel time reliability.The main work are as follows:Firstly,this paper analyzes the traffic characteristics of four typical travel modes in the urban transportation system,such as bicycle,car,bus and subway,analyzes the common travel modes in the multi-mode transportation network,and introduces the super network model to model the topology of the multi-mode transportation system.On this basis,it analyzes the user characteristics of travel time reliability,aiming at the travel needs of time free and time urgent users,The minimum expected time path search algorithm and the maximum travel time reliability path search algorithm are given respectively.The algorithm is verified and analyzed by an example.Secondly,considering the main factors affecting the choice of travelers,such as time,cost and comfort,this paper analyzes the probability distribution and characteristic parameters of road travel time in multi-mode traffic super network,and analyzes the transformation relationship between road travel time and path travel time based on the central limit theorem,Based on logit model,a multi-mode traffic network traffic allocation model considering perceptual difference is proposed.Besides,an effective super path search algorithm based on stack in and out and an improved MSA algorithm are given.An example is given to verify the effectiveness of the model and algorithm.Finally,the basic idea of multi-mode traffic system network design considering travel time reliability is given,the objectives and constraints of multi-mode traffic network system optimization considering travel time reliability are analyzed,and a bilevel programming model of multi-mode traffic network design considering on travel time reliability is established.The upper model describes the network design problem to improve od’s travel time reliability,The lower level model is a multi-type and multi-mode traffic network flow allocation problem.A model solving algorithm based on improved genetic algorithm is proposed,and the effectiveness of the model and algorithm is verified and analyzed by an example.
