Microwave Power Transmission is one kind of Wireless Power Transmission,it has received extensive attention in recent years.As an important part of MPT system,rectifier determines the overall performance of MPT system to a certain extent.Rectifying diode is a nonlinear device.Because of the diode used in the rectifier,the input impedance of the circuit is very sensitive to the input power and frequency changes,which greatly increases the difficulty of the design of large dynamic range rectifier and dual-frequency rectifier.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the design of high efficiency rectifier,large dynamic range rectifier and dual-band high efficiency rectifier,the main research contents and results are as follows:(1)Theoretical research and realization of high efficiency rectifier.A high efficiency rectifier working at 5.8GHz is proposed,the harmonic suppression network is used in rectifier design to make the voltage and current of the rectifying diode nearly orthogonal.Thus,the loss of rectifier diode is reduced and the efficiency of rectifier can be improved.The experimental results show that the best input power is 17.9dBm,and the maximum power conversion efficiency is 74.9%.(2)The design of a high efficiency rectifier with wide dynamic range.A new impedance compression network is proposed,and its performance is verified by simulation.Based on the impedance compression network,a 5.8GHz rectifier with high efficiency and wide dynamic range is implemented.Compared with the ordinary rectifier,the experimental results show that,the optimal input power range of the large dynamic range rectifier has been improved obviously,which verifies its good performance of large dynamic range.(3)Theoretical analysis and simulation research of dual-band high efficiency rectifier.A dual-band matching network with high design degree of freedom is proposed.It can avoid the problem that the microstrip line is too narrow to be processed.At the same time,the dual-frequency matching network can suppress the energy of a certain frequency.A dual-band rectifier working at 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz is designed based on the proposed dual-band matching network,the rectifier has good matching performance at two frequencies.According to the experimental results,the maximum power conversion efficiencies at the two operating frequencies are 77.4%and 67.5%,respectively.
