Design Application Of Visual Elements Of Yunnan Lahu Culture In Cultural And Creative Product

In recent years,the state has increasingly attached importance to the development of ethnic minority culture.As a "poverty alleviation" area,the Lahu ethnic group in Yunnan has continued to consolidate and expand the "poverty alleviation" policy,comprehensively promoting rural revitalization,and exploring an innovative path consistent with the development of their own ethnic group.The Lahu ethnic group should focus on the development of cultural and creative products based on their ethnic advantages,give full play to the functions and values of ethnic culture in rural revitalization,and rely on characteristic culture to drive local economic development.This article takes the cultural and creative products of the Lahu ethnic group as the research object.Firstly,it thoroughly understands the historical evolution,folk customs,natural environment,and other ethnic cultures of the Lahu ethnic group,and classifies,organizes,and summarizes the visual elements of the Lahu ethnic culture;Secondly,it elaborates the concept and characteristics of cultural and creative products,analyzes the mutual value between cultural and creative products and Lahu culture,and selects classic cultural and creative cases of ethnic minorities to conduct in-depth research and analysis;Finally,the Lahu cultural and creative products are divided into two different series of products,namely,"Protect the Happiness" and "Happy Lahu".The Lahu clothing patterns and representative festival elements are selected respectively,and modern design techniques such as extraction,transformation,and abstract reconstruction are used to create two sets of modern cultural and creative products full of Lahu genes.Exploring the important value of the cultural connotation and artistic characteristics of the Lahu ethnic group and designing a series of cultural and creative products with ethnic connotation and artistic characteristics are conducive to the active inheritance of minority culture.The author’s design practice of Lahu cultural and creative products is expected to contribute to the dissemination of ethnic minority culture and the development of cultural and creative industries,and provide some reference for the subsequent development of Lahu cultural and creative products.
