| Credit sales business is accompanied by the development of market economy and the implementation of commercial credit and its purpose is to occupy more market share.Reasonable credit sales will promote the economic growth of enterprises,excessive credit sales will lead to unreasonable accounts receivable.At present,most enterprises do not pay attention to the management of accounts receivable,there are a variety of problems in its management,coupled with the domestic accounts receivable credit system is not perfect,leading to enterprises to bear huge capital risks.This paper takes accounts receivable management of F Company as the research object.F Company belongs to the instrument manufacturing industry and has been plagued by accounts receivable risk.The Research and development investment is high,but the Research and development work has a high degree of uncertainty.Whether it is successful,when it will be successful,and how much more R&D funds will be invested.Even if the technology development is successful,it will also transform the technical achievements,whether it can be successfully transformed,and whether it can be commercially mass produced.As a result,enterprises need to invest huge amounts of funds.If the accounts receivable are overdue or even bad debts,leading to the rupture of the capital chain,the enterprise will be stuck in stagnation or bankruptcy.Firstly,based on the study of writings related to accounts receivable management by Chinese and foreign scholars,this paper presents the current situation of accounts receivable management in Company F through a qualitative analysis of its organisational structure,the overall business process of the sales and collection cycle,the steps and methods of implementing accounts receivable management,and a quantitative analysis of relevant financial indicators such as accounts receivable turnover rate and ageing using data analysis.Secondly,using literature research and field research methods,we analyzed the main problems exposed in the management of accounts receivable of Company F,including ex-ante prevention problems: lack of independent credit management department,deficiencies in credit system,weak awareness of risk management,rigid and distorted customer information;ex-post management: irregular management of credit sales contracts,poor business management process,lack of cooperation between departments and outdated financial system;ex-post control: rigid daily management of accounts receivable,imperfect information analysis mechanism and feedback mechanism of accounts receivable,decoupling of performance appraisal from accounts receivable recovery,ineffective development of accounts receivable financing business,etc.Accordingly,the causes of the problems are analysed through internal and external factors.Finally,through in-depth research and analysis,a plan was formulated to optimise the whole process before,during and after the problems existed,and effective management suggestions and strategies were put forward so as to effectively enhance the management of accounts receivable of Company F and help Company F improve its accounts receivable management system. |
